Wtf is going on here. From what I have read I think Vicki is a real piece of work.

Yeah, I'm generally not a hater of rockstar's wives (Courtney is not a murderer, etc)...but my impression is that Vicky Cornell is a shady gold digger. You've got to be a piece of work if a friendly, chill guy like Eddie Vedder doesn't like you. On the new Pearl Jam album, there's a song about Chris Cornell that takes some shots at her...

Jebus fuckin Christ what a song.... :tiphat:

A bit cryptic, but these must be the lyrics...

She fell off the altar of vision, you caught her, but then
A wood cut in red
I wish it was not you that she had left
Selfish navigation with no end.
Where’d you sleep? Cannot find
A deeper connection in the face of rejection, I’m tryin’
I’m trying

Everything I've ever read about her was negative. However, there was a lot of talk about Chris as well after he left Susan Silver. He supposedly turned "Hollywood." Him making that pop record would seem to possibly help confirm that.

Susan still seems very well respected amongst the more credible Seattle musicians and former members of Soundgarden.

Sometimes I question some of CC's artistic endeavors or choices, for sure...but he didn't go "full Perry". The last Soundgarden album was excellent, as far as reunion albums go. And his Songbook album was great too.

As for Susan Silver, she's the real deal...and evidently, still on good terms with his family. Vicky can't say the same...there appears to be a major rift there.

Can I try one last time?
Could all use a savior from human behavior sometimes
And the kids are alright
The Queen of Collections took your time
Sadness comes 'cause some of it was mine

Anyone checked out the new Chris Cornell cover album? I'm usually not into estate's milking a dead artist's vault with numerous posthumous releases...but in this case, BRING IT ON!

I find it both hilarious and sad that a grieving widow (and success in her own right) like Courtney Love has been crucified by music "fans" for decades, turning her into a cartoon black widow of sorts...just because they didn't like her larger than life personality and behaviour (normally tolerated when it's a man). By contrast or on her own, Vicky Cornell is a ripe cunt.
