Unless you're talking about OHM, which RHCP album are you referring to? They all sound the same.

They all sound the same?! Freaky Styley, By the Way, One Hot Minute, I'm With You, and Mother's Milk all sound like they are completely different bands! Heck one of the things I praise about RHCP is how diverse their albums are over the last 25 or so years.

But to answer the question - I'd probably bring I'm With You. You need some positive vibes for the desert island!

The New Jane's because john frusciante is not on the new RHCP with out him there fucking nothing .I love Flea and Chad but Anthony's voice is Lame......

I've listened to I'm With You over 10 times and I definitely like it. Heard TGEA probably 5 times now and I'd say IWY is the better album. I've really lowered my expectations when it comes to bands I use to love who are now becoming ancient. I will say RHCP has aged gracefully, while Jane's is really having some trouble. Both albums are pretty much what I was expecting though. I'd say IWY = 7/10 and TGEA = 6.5/10.

I really didn't expect much from either band's latest albums. I was mildly surprised initially when I heard Jane's new one but I was very pleased with the new RHCP album and it's actually grown quite a bit since I picked it up. A few of the new RHCP tunes are some of the best stuff I've heard from them in a decade, imo.
