I'm not a big fan of genitals but now I will laugh at him whenever I see that scene or him naked anywhere else

you can't judge a guys dick when flaccid.
i guess that goes for the balls too but if i was going to show my junk i would have at least chubbed up a bit.

Re: True Blood (HBO)
The worst was seeing Harvey Keitel naked in The Piano.
Re: True Blood (HBO)
That was so fucking dumb. Fast forward 6 months and slutty stackhouse is with the werewolf now? Zombies are coming? I'm tapping out. Thankfully my wife agrees.

Re: True Blood (HBO)
I actually liked the last few episodes - the primary plot progressed in a fairly uncluttered fashion and it was fun seeing Eric in full tilt cocky attitude (except for the terrible crybaby bit). But yeah, the last ep. sssssssssuuuuuuuucked from start to finish ("surprise, I popped out from the other dimension to grab the bad guy!"). And seriously, minutes crapped away on vampire vollyball? And the setup for next year looks incredibly lame.blackula wrote:That was so fucking dumb. Fast forward 6 months and slutty stackhouse is with the werewolf now? Zombies are coming? I'm tapping out. Now I gotta get through the rest of dull as dishwater Dexter and then.... I. SHALL. BE. FREEEEEEE!!!!

Re: True Blood (HBO)
I really don't watch much broadcast tv any more, it's all movies I either buy or rent. My wife's the tv show hound. I did come late to the game with Homeland - I bought the season 1 Blu-ray for my wife for Christmas and we plowed through it in a weekend.creep wrote:you are missing out... so many good series going on right now and a couple about to start.Pandemonium wrote: Now I gotta get through the rest of dull as dishwater Dexter and then.... Re: True Blood (HBO)
I think I'm actually going to miss this piece of shit. I love to hate it. The fact is that the environment and some of the characters are pretty cool, and even some of the stories are OK once in a while. It's just that they usually managed to entirely fuck it up and make it goofy as hell.
I wonder how they'll tell a "simpler story" when it left off as an all-out war between infected vampires and humans? Regardless, simpler = better. The show is at its absolute worst when its all over the place.True Blood's upcoming seventh season will be its last, HBO announced Tuesday.
"True Blood has been nothing short of a defining show for HBO," HBO President Michael Lombardo said in a statement. "Alan Ball took the books by Charlaine Harris, assembled a brilliant cast led by the magnificent Anna Paquin in the role of Sookie Stackhouse, and crafted a show that has taken its many devoted fans on an unforgettable journey. Alan passed the baton to [showrunner] Brian Buckner, who led our fantastic writers and crew in crafting a spectacular sixth season, and he will lead us through the seventh and final season of this amazing show. Together with its legions of fans, it will be hard to say goodbye to the residents of Bon Temps, but I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show."
Get the scoop on True Blood's final season
True Blood's final season will consist of 10 episodes, debuting next summer. Buckner recently told TVGuide.com that Season 7 will "tell a simpler story" that will "return to the show's promise in Season 1" of examining the relationships between humans and vampires.
Re: True Blood (HBO)
Anyone watching it? It's the final season.
Re: True Blood (HBO)
I was going to ask if anyone would bother. I was out earlier, but I'll probably watch it later or in the next few days. It's mostly middling-to-awful, but I've come this far and there's nothing left on TV for me to watch right now. I watch very little TV, but the few things I do watch I like a lot. True Blood is something of an anomaly there, because my opinion of it isn't very high. I just got in the habit after a good first season, and they're at least pretty decent at Louisiana ambiance, if nothing else.perkana wrote:Anyone watching it? It's the final season.
Re: True Blood (HBO)
Don't want to spoil it, but finally something wonderful happened
Re: True Blood (HBO)
I haven't watched it yet, but if it's Tara dying, I won't be surprised.perkana wrote:Don't want to spoil it, but finally something wonderful happened
Or maybe Sookie getting the gap in her teeth fixed.
Re: True Blood (HBO)
I watched last night's epsiode and thought it was kind of lame. I will still watch the rest of the series since it is the last.
Unfortunately, Sookie wasn't the one to go. Her speech at the church..
Oh, Pam is in Morocco looking for Eric.

I think I passed out for a sec...but I'm with you, it's the last season. Have seen 6 already, just one more and I don't have to be a masochist anymore!

Re: True Blood (HBO)
So Tara has become the Kenny of True Blood.....
Maybe it's just my cynicism, but it seems like every actor on the show doesn't want to be there.
I predict this show will easily surpass Dexter as crummiest final season EVAH!

Something wonderful to me would be seeing Jessica nakedperkana wrote:Don't want to spoil it, but finally something wonderful happened
Since that didn't happen, I didn't find anything about this episode that I liked
