This song is one of my bucket list cuts I would love to hear live. They played "In Cythera" for only the 2nd time last week in Mexico, it should be a staple of the set.

It appears Killing Joke is lining up a slate of dates throughout North America for a late Spring 2019 tour. So far they are playing NYC on 5/16 and Las Vegas (Memorial Day Weekend Punk Rock Bowling Fest) May 26.

Looks promising.
Seems they were pretty well received here last year, so they're doing another round.

If last year was the 40 years tour and they don't have a new album, are they promoting anything?

It's a continuation of their 40th Anniversary tour. They're doing a tour of the UK and Europe in August including some some festival shows. There was talk around late last year they want to record a new studio album but I doubt that happens before the end of 2019. Hopefully they will mix up the set a bit.

There is some not so good news on the KJ front as well which given their history, is unfortunately no surprise.

Pledge Music, which has been handling all their non-studio album projects for the last decade is in dire trouble apparently not paying bands for projects and not shipping completed products leaving a lot of fans of hundreds of bands scrambling to try and get refunds, something especially tough for fans of Killing Joke as they have several PledgeMusic projects that have been stalled for several years including the Symphonic Killing Joke concert and physical release where they collected thousands of dollars from patrons that apparently the band hasn't received. Pledge isn't offering refunds to funders and because of the several year time frame these projects have been crowdfunding, it's pretty tough to get a refund even with a solid CC company. it really looks like someone in Pledge was pocketing a *lot* of money.

In Killing Joke's case, they are going forward with pressing the "2018 Live In London" release on vinyl later this year through their own means (it was released on CD-R through Pledge late last Summer) but the other projects like the massive studio albums box set and the Symphonic Killing Joke project may be dead in the water.

I probably got the last batch of the two 2018 live releases on CD a couple months ago just before Pledge ran out of money.
