Went to see Endgame last night. Thoroughly entertaining and bladder-challenging. It felt like a fantastic ending for the saga.

6/10
i don't get your rating system. from what you said it should be at least an 8/10. 60% is considered failing (d grade) in school here.

i don't like superhere movies but i saw endgame. it was ok. i diidn't know a lot of the superheros or the back stories so that probably didn't help.

6/10

I think 6/10 is for a movie that’s decent on its own, but it’s far from being incredible or a film classic.

7 is a good movie, 8 is like “this was really good”, 9 is an incredible feat of cinema and 10 is a bloody masterpiece.

And yeah, I can see how you wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much if you hadn’t seen some/most of the other movies. Some of the most “meaningful” and shiver-inducing moments are only so important if you saw the previous movies and are invested in the overarching story to a degree.

you know what's kinda funny was how successful the first Police Academy was. Look at some of the movies it blew out of the park as far as earnings go.

This was a good movie. I've never seen someone so convincingly play the role of a prick like Alec Baldwin.

I liked it, but it was too cheesy for me. I love you 3000

I've never seen one Marvel film ever. Am I missing out? I used to love the comics as a kid.

I was underemployed a few years back so I watched all the marvel movies in "chronological" order (the order the stories took place, not the order they came out).
No, you are not.

first season of daredevil (also punisher) on netflix wasn't too bad though.

Some of these movies are cool to see how the superhero came to be, but after that I lose interest.

The Marvel universe has taken over Hollywood so now whether you're an up and coming actor or a veteran household name, if you want work you better try and be a part of it.

I thought Deadpool was a fantastic comedy. It’s also R-rated, which works well for the movie. That would be the one I’d recommend if you don’t watch superhero movies.

Logan was a good drama as well. X-Men, but I’m guessing it still counts.

Ah, I did watch Deadpool on the plane once. Loved it, only one I've seen.

I remember seeing Jon Favreau on the Kimmel show about ten years ago talking about how he was in the process of making an Iron Man movie. I kinda laughed to myself and thought,
no one knows who Iron Man is anyway who would want to see that? I sure was wrong.

i watched scarface for the first time last night. i have no idea why i haven't seen it before. pachino is great in it of course but other than that there is some really bad acting in it but i guess that is to be expected from a movie so old. decent movie.

Serpico's is great if youre on an Al Pacino kick. Carlito's Way is another good one.

Saw Booksmart over the weekend and really enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty funny, but I tend to be easily amused, so not sure if you lot will find it funny. Great soundtrack too!

I usually like movies like this but I only made it half way through. I really wanted to like it. :noclue:

When Scarface was first released, everyone at my job were big coke heads (partly because we worked the graveyard shift) and this instantly became everyone's favorite movie. I can't say how quickly the oft-repeated "Say hello to my little friend" quote grew to nails-on-chalkboard annoying.

I watched Only the Brave last night. I don't want to spoil the entire movie but it doesn't have a happy ending .This movie did horrible at the theaters but it's really good.
