I say that every time Van Halen crawls out from under a rock and tours.bman wrote:The Dallas Ritual show was the last time I'm flying or driving far for Janes! It was a decent show. Solid B actually. Better than some of the Shocking shows. But unless it's a NYC show, or something really special like a final tour thing that'll probably be it for a while.
Re: Is there any way back for Jane's?
Yeah the Hall of Fame thing or anything Eric related would fall under the 'doing something special' category!
Re: Is there any way back for Jane's?
Wally is the only fucker who bothered to go to Chile, I'm disappointed in the rest of you... and now I had to fly 25+ hours just to be closer to Bandit. It's not fair.creep wrote:i'm going to remember that bman said they he is done traveling to see them. i'm not sure i believe you. if they go in the the hall of fame and eric plays i bet you go.

Re: Is there any way back for Jane's?
Someone from this board took a picture of me from afar at Lollapalooza, but never bothered to say hello.
That's the closest I have come to meeting anyone.

Not as long as all their socializing with each other looks like this:Is there any way back for Jane's?
I guess Perry is too cool not only to practice, but to even travel with his bandmates.
Re: Is there any way back for Jane's?
When traveling with Perry now means you are also traveling with "That Lady"Six7Six7 wrote:

I'd say they are better off & look happier going on their own.
Just look at the grins on those faces!

Saw this today and was reminded of us, and Perry:

NEWPORT, RI—Audience members at the Newport Rock Festival were "outraged" Monday when rock icon Bob Dylan followed up such classic hits as "Like A Rolling Stone" and "Maggie's Farm" with an electronica set composed of atonal drones, hyperactive drumbeats, and the repeated mechanized lyric "Dance to the club life!" "We came here to see the authentic Dylan, the one with the Stratocaster guitar and signature wild blues-rock band behind him," audience member Robert Hochschild said. "Then he walks out with these puffy headphones, some turntables, and a laptop? The guy's a Judas." When asked later about his musical transformation by reporters, Dylan said he had nothing to say about the beats he programs, he just programs them.

Re: Is there any way back for Jane's?
Back to Is there any way back...I don't think so, we all get older and things change, looks change, and for singers voices change, life situations change, song writing ability changes. I know I'm the same age as Dave and I'm not the same as when I was in my 20's. I'm still fucking cool and I've still got my hair but life is funny and you can't repeat what you did back then. These guys have tasted a bit of the good life and aren't the struggling dreaded out freaks they once were, neither am I and I can't even imaging Perry who is like 10 years older. Plus the ravages of drugs and the rock and roll lifestyle ain't easy and once you quit you are a different person.

Dave says: You need to grow out a goatee or a beard, I hate having cold balls when you’re sucking my dick.Six7Six7 wrote:Not as long as all their socializing with each other looks like this:Is there any way back for Jane's?

Dave says: You can take my handle but learn how to take it all in. And please swallow, I hate having to clean up my tile after your mouth.
Dave says: Fanboy adults are weird.
Dave says: Just because you found your mom’s dildo doesn't mean you have to shove it up your ass.
Dave says: You’re still a grown man even if your ass is loose like a vagina and you act like a bitch.
Dave says: You shouldn’t fart lotion.
Re: Is there any way back for Jane's?
To answer the OP, no way in hell.
Re: Is there any way back for Jane's?
I've always considered AoA to be a nice guy. He also had a message board where I posted. He posted A LOT of great, interesting music. Lots of live shows ... Downloaded a lot from that site.creep wrote:i'm shocked a couple people remember her. we met the first time at ninja vegas. we actually went to maui together last summer and have taken quite a few other vacations together. that is my weird creepy secret janes addiction message board confession.lollapaloser wrote:Wow, I remember the human duplicator, lol.

That's something I miss here ... Music sharing.
He called me in my hotel room when I was in New York, which I thought was kinda cool. But we never met

And AOA seemed to have the typical personality of a scammer. A bunch of spiritual positive bullshit followed by gifts, followed by requests for money.
