I think this is the only pic we have of them together between like '93 and 2008. Funny story in the caption too.

I assume this would be 2001-ish, based on the way Dave looks?

It was definitely post-relapse. 99 I believe. There were actually one or two other photos of them from that same lunch.

The forum related to the Jane's Xine (that's Phil Hayes, just remembered) was my first brush with the interwebs (well, my first music forum).

Still bums me out that Phil scraped his book (Jane Said) back then because he was afraid Perry might sue over some of the shit in it. That's pretty laughable now. At best Perry would write some shitty lyrics about him. I bet most of the good bits from the book ended up in Whores.
