Yeah, I need a notepad cheat sheet handy for all of these evergreen threads that get posted ~ every 3.5 years.
'91 - RDLH tour in May @ Cal Expo, Sacramento
'91 - Lollapalooza in July (?) @ Mountainview, CA
'97 - @ Sacramento Memorial Auditorium
'97 - ENIT Festival, S.F. CA
'01 - Jubilee @ Mountainview, CA
'02 - @ Warfield Theater, S.F., CA
'03 - Lollapalooza @ Mountainview, CA
'09 NiNJA @ Las Vegas, NV
'09 NiNJA @ Mountainview, CA (well, I worked it, didn't actually watch that much of the show, but I think it counts)
I think I'm forgetting some but not sure?
... I'm doing my best to forget the TPC and SP shows I caught...

I forget the NINJA show PNC art center. Will list the P4P shows soon.
Re: jane's live
I usually always find something good at a show even if it's a off night for the artist...but the SP show at Irving Plaza was hands down the worst show I ever saw.MYXYLPLYX wrote: ... I'm doing my best to forget the TPC and SP shows I caught...
I'm only glad it cost me $0 because I used AMEX points

let's be honest though...only up until '91 is the really good stuff.

Anyone seen that Subterranean show from '90 over on ja.org? I'd seen clips before but never full show... it's absolutely brilliant - the energy is just immense.ThenSheDid wrote:let's be honest though...only up until '91 is the really good stuff.

Thanks
Re: jane's live
Dude, i'm way too tech-dumb for something as simple as that! It's on janesaddiction.org under the ocean size section (looks like Mescal has just posted it). Try and count the stage-divers... at one stage, it's just an endless stream. EA and Perry just look like the 2 coolest fuckers ever to live.Bandit72 wrote:Got the link?Japhy wrote:Anyone seen that Subterranean show from '90 over on ja.org? Couldn't tell ya about anything before 1996, but the P4P show I saw in 96 was mindblowing. I understand older stuff might have been more mindblowing, but I've never seen anything that compared to that P4P show and I've seen a lot of shows from a lot of great bands.ThenSheDid wrote:let's be honest though...only up until '91 is the really good stuff.
Re: jane's live
That show from youtube, was fucking amazing. You know it is good when you can feel the energy thru the computer. But I'd have to agree with Hoka that there were good & in fact great JA's shows & PFP shows after '91. The shows I saw in '91 were great, but so were the two Hammerstein shows in '97. In fact the halloween show at hammerstein was the most intense concert I've seen. It was fucking unreal.hokahey wrote:Couldn't tell ya about anything before 1996, but the P4P show I saw in 96 was mindblowing. The early shows as a whole were probably better, but there have been good ones since & will be good ones in the future.

I don't know, I have to dig out old stubs to get all the dates. I also saw Perry DJ at the great american music hall, at some purim celebration, but I don't remember when, like 1998-1999? It was fun, but not so great.
The first date at The Fillmore was my first show, in 6th grade, in May, that yr.
I saw Peter Murphy w/ Pete and Eric A.
I think that is them all.
