According to setlist’s website, they played “Slow Divers” and two new songs last night; “Heaven Gong” and “Poppy”. Not sure I believe this (yet?).

Wow. Hard to believe people would waste time uploading bullshit, Jane’s Addiction set lists so I’m inclined to assume it’s accurate. Insane if so. I’d suspect the new album and US tour announcement are coming at any moment. What a time to be a Janes fan. It’s truly a shame they couldn’t have functioned like this for at least the last 20 years.Tyler Durden wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 10:16 amAccording to setlist’s website, they played “Slow Divers” and two new songs last night; “Heaven Gong” and “Poppy”. Better late than never right
Re: UK/European Tour ‘24…with Dave
I don't think Perry would ever name a song Poppy because that's Casey's daughters name

Someone had posted a setlist for the Bush Hall show on that website and it was the wrong order and stated that they had played a song called “Ivory Tower”; evidently the band never played a song called that.Hokahey wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 10:51 amWow. Yes, but it’s still a little bitter sweet. They’re not exactly young men anymore. We’re getting a pretty tired version of Perry. I’m thrilled we’re getting this. But this band will potentially always be overshadowed by “what could have been.” I hope they have just enough juice left to shake a lot of that off, but I don’t really think they have the vigor for it. I think at best, they can wipe a lot of the shit stains on their legacy. Which is great. But I wish they could have fully cemented their greatness for more people to have been able to understand instead of just the die hards feeling better about how it all ends.
I’m thankful for Porno for Pyros at least. But even they are brutally underrated. Even by the fan community. Thankfully a lot more of the fans got to see a glimpse of how incredible they could be live.

Am I missing something…or why are there no audience clips on YouTube from last night’s show. Did the venue take everyone’s phone?
Re: UK/European Tour ‘24…with Dave
Dismayed at lack of video from that festival
On the upside there official Twitter account posted a thing about signing up for US tour updates
There’s also a thing on their instagram story about RSVP’ing for info

This is all very true. But Perry sometimes catches fresh winds—I was shocked at what he pulled off on the majority of the Pumpkins dates and in South America. Where he’s struggled to hit the banshee wails, he’s taken on a punkier approach, which is sort of like the super early days. Hopefully he continues to limber up so we Stateside geezers can have some great shows.Hokahey wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 11:00 amYes, but it’s still a little bitter sweet. I’m genuinely perplexed. A super suspicious setlist and no videos posted on YouTube.

What’s weirdest is that there are barely any non-Jane’s videos posted from Bearded Theory, at least so far.Tyler Durden wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 12:22 pmI’m genuinely perplexed. A super suspicious setlist and no videos posted on YouTube.
Re: UK/European Tour ‘24…with Dave
So after the first few times of listening to this new song I would say it's better than the Irresistible Force
Re: UK/European Tour ‘24…with Dave
I just wanted to point out it's not a competition as to what Chaney brought to the band compared to Eric.
Re: UK/European Tour ‘24…with Dave
In its present form .... no
Underground, End To Lies and Irresistible Force were pretty good songs. Don´t care too much about the rest of the album.
Good to hear that they're getting along, making new tunes etc .... But from what I´ve heard ... Imminent Redemption, True Love .... They just sound like Ain´t No Right and Summertime Rolls rip offs.
