October will be 15 years since my first Perry show - Porno for Pyros in St. Louis. Hard to believe it's been that long.

I was there too. My first Jane's how was 11/20/90 at the RItz.
I went to both Lollas at Waterloo that first year. Two cherished days in my concert going life and probably my life overall.

I think we talked about this before but that was long ago during the Xiola era. My first show was 11/21/90 at the Ritz. I went to both Waterloo shows, too. They were amazing and so was that Ritz show. I picked up a video boot of the Ritz and man was the quality terrible. It was amateur shot from the balcony between people's heads, nothing like the actual show.

The setlists were different and I seem to remember they were more on fire the second night. Both shows were excellent.

Best show ever for me was 91 irvine meadows lolla. Nin, lc, s&b, body count, etc. Sublime. 7th row, stage left. Ea was possessed.

I wrote that pretty poorly. Here we go, I was at the Ritz 11-21 and bought the video for that show.

The second show was definitely better in my memory too. I got home from the first show on Sunday and went to Ticketmaster at my local record store first thing Monday morning and got tickets for the Wednesday show. Hard to believe there were still tickets for the second show available two day prior.

I'm still pissed I missed the Relapse shows. I saw P4P the year prior, but Jane's wasn't playing anywhere near me. I was 18 and without a car, living with a girl and her family in Tampa, Florida (boy is that a long, awful story). Her father wouldn't let us drive to Miami for that show. Had I not moved back down to FL and stayed in St. Louis I probably could have found a friend to drive to Chicago. Oh the mistakes we make for women, especially at a young age.
