It's not really a knock on JA, but rather there just aren't ANY good 50 year old singers singing songs they wrote when they were young.

It's like seeing a Rolling Stones concert. Why ruin what they once had?

Without a doubt, Jaz Coleman has it  ....... maybe even more so. :noclue:

There is something about the elegance of measured anger and concern from Jaz, at such an age, that is quite amazing.

And it goes without saying Bowie, but he isn't so much putting stuff out there anymore.

Yeah, there's no doubt about that and he's 62 years old. I was planning on skipping this tour due in large part to the fact I don't care at all for the new album, plus I figured Clarence's death would leave a gaping hole in The E Street Band but from everything I've heard and seen, they're still playing at a very high standard for a bunch of old farts, so I may reconsider and check out one of the LA shows in a few weeks.

Check out "She's The One" from a show a couple days ago at the 3 minute mark:

A: David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen are better.

To be fair, this is a particularly bad performance by Roth on a song he's been struggling with every show this tour. He's had some pretty good nights this tour but overall, he's been inconsistent as hell and when he's bad, it's really cringe worthy. The thing that sucks for anyone on the fence about seeing this tour, is that by all accounts Eddie is back at the top of his game after over a decade of trashing himself nearly to death and playing embarrassingly bad on most of the 2004 Sammy Hagar reunion tour (he was better in '07/'08 but not nearly as good as he is now).
