Yep, guilty. Honestly not expecting much but I doubt i'll walk out thinking it was shit. It does sound as though it will generally be dialled in but what can you do... that's what they are these days. End of the day, it's another chance to hear UTB, Pigs, Summertime, Ted etc. Think i've only caught Dad once before and probably the same for Shower.

Yes, i'll go with the inane hope that any non-NS tracks will include Ripple or L.A. Medley or No-One's Leaving etc but i equally know i'll get Stop, Ain't No Right and Three Days.

Tix going for less than face value on stubhub so can't be selling too well. Just found out that a band my mate has made a couple of videos for are supporting... Blood Red Shoes. Don't think i'll be there until 8ish but i will try and get there for them... I know a couple of decent songs. I'll PM you my mobile when I get a sec.

If die-hards question the value of "£50 for 40 minutes" as a friend put it, your average fan won't be coughing it up.

All of that said, take it for what it is.
BMAN is unwavering as ever, but even to a jaded old fucker like me, there was value to the shows in Las Vegas.
Expect no surprises and you'll be fine.

16 songs... album (obvs) plus BCS, Just Because, Three Days, Stop and Chip Away. The latter ended the show a bit weirdly as the hanging flesh girls weren't swinging around properly... not sure what was wrong... Perry and Dave were totally side-tracked by that going on. Anyway, the show was decent enough and Perry's voice was actually quite good - plenty of high notes taken on. Pretty big crowd in the end... fairly crazy down the front but could easily have been crazier.

Great to meet jgp and to see Dannyboy again - bumped into another mate after the show too which was pretty cool.

Far, far better show than the last UK one in Aug '11. Perry was in good spirits, talking about his cock a lot, ranting about drugs and swigging the standard wine... seemed pretty out of it at times (in a good way). Crowd seemed to be most nuts early on through Ocean Size, Dad and Shower... died off a little but came back strong for BCS and also Just Because. Plenty of xmas / fairy lights and flowers on the stage... looked good.

Anyway yeah, now 2am here so better hit the sack.

My mate ( who used to hate janes but eventually converted) said he'd never seen a frontman who enjoyed himself as much as perry does. I thought that was sweet.

Really enjoyed last night, great vibe between band and punters and a good sound.
I could nitpick some negatives but what purpose would that serve?

I had a damn good time and my neck is sore from rockin out hard!

i think it's fair to say that if the band is rested and put in some effort they can still put on a good show.

A decent show & was very impressed with Perrys vocals. He really seemed into the gig. The girl next to me on front row had never seen them before & was very excited. Kinda cool that she was young & into Janes. Could have done with a bit longer setlist, but, overall it was a very decent night out for me.
