Dave's a pretty bright guy...I'm pretty sure he knows exactly what he's dealing with and enjoying it while it lasts. Where have you been? This is generally a mean bunch...witty, but mean...it's on social media so it's "fair game", and a very significant amount of time is spent paying attention to and making witty remarks regarding these people we don't like. Now god forbid I point out how silly this practice is, and the devil's advocate aspect of my assessments are completely lost on some, while others strongly defend their right to say what they feel...but really? It's just fucking creepy. If she was one of those "older souls" type of 22 year olds, you could at ok it's still creepy looking but she's mature beyond her years. But she's not. She is completely a typical 22 year old in maturity. Maybe even a little bit under from what I see
So he looks like the creepy uncle your parents told you to avoid at family parties

I don't know that I have a problem with it per se, but I do think it indicates insurmountable emotional problems that will plague both mutually and independently for a lifetime. And it will never end well.

We're all plagued by emotional baggage in one way or another. That's life. Being in the music industry is only going to amplify the weirdness.

Yeah, I don't get the consternation about Dave's girlfriend due to her age. I wonder if rockers like Jimmy Page and Keith Richards got hassled when they were screwing legitimately teenage groupies back in the 60's and 70's. She's old enough to drink, vote and join the military and get herself killed in another country, she's old enough to go after a nutty rock star guitarist. Hopefully if she sticks with Dave, she'll wind up being at least half as goofy in her public persona as Etty for our entertainment.
