I equate this whole thing to simply having one girlfriend that you've invested everything in and when she finally disappoints you, you're crushed. Me, I have dozens of girlfriends(favorite bands) so when one starts losing her looks or gets too bitchy, I have plenty of other ones to, er... get blown away by.

i think i still hold out hope that perry will reign it back in and create something amazing. artist go through dry spells.

i really think porno for pyros would make for a better fit for this era of perry farrell. he could lay back on his agression and sing about goofy shit to the cows come home. it would fit, nearly. perkins and pete with chaney.

i just think dave is so far from what perry or eric like music wise, it makes for a tough fit. dave would fit right in linkin park or evanescence. it's not like dave couldn't find a spot in a new band like those.

either way, i really think perry needs to realize he's 52 be the elder statesmen for his generation, rather than trying to dance/DJ his way back into a music scene that has long since passed his ideas.

and if tries to put "space" into one more project, i'm gonna puke.

Damn that was pretty touching when Perky said he wanted to go to lunch with Dave's mom. Watch Dave's eyes bug out when he looks at Perkins right as he's saying it - he was utterly shocked.

Yes, he never expected Stephen coming up with that...it was nice and sad at the same time.

I enjoyed Perry talking about the "Splash" lyrics...and Dave about the guitar solo. I love that song so that was nice...
