They're playing at Williamsburg Park.

I was gonna say I'd definitely check out the Brooklyn show. Then I saw it was $60. Kinda steep for an outdoor venue in Brooklyn with Die Antwoord. It should be $20.

And they should have gone to the Music Hall of Williamsburg, its only a couple of blocks away and I love that place.

What's the Williamsburg park venue like? Good sound? General Admission I imagine? Never been there.

Yea Williamsburg park
Not the old Waterfront park.
not the old venue at McCarren park with the beautiful view of Manhattan.
This one is down Kent at 11th & no longer has a view.

this one is also now farther away from the Bedford L station and also has 0 parking available.

again.....pass.

Artist rendering

The old park was a cement slab with a stage next to a state park. The sound was pretty decent for a outdoor venue facing the East River. They only had port-o-potties which sucked and only sold Brooklyn Lager which also sucked. But the view was breathtaking. Especially at sunset.

The reason they moved is because they built a luxury highrise right next to it. Bands HAS to be on stage at 8:00 pm SHARP and off by 10:30 on the nose. Neighbors complained....they moved it.

Everything that good gets ruined when people try gentrifying a area..

Updated tour list added to OP.

Also:
Boston’s Bank Of America Pavilion is also on the list of new shows, but the date was not included with today’s announcement.

Mutemath supports in Cleveland and Syracuse; Band Of Skulls in Boston and New Brunswick, and Die Antwoord in Philadelphia and Brooklyn. Support acts for Mashantucket, Pittsburgh, Boise and Reno have not yet been announced.

I think I've been to Williamsburg once in the 12 years I've lived in NYC! Hipsters have NO clue who Jane's is. This will be an Irving Plaza type crowd.

Interesting that Janes is saving the LA Hollywood Palladium show for what appears to be the end of the tour.

Wish they'd play another MO show. I could have gone for some more Jane's.

I think that chick and the main guy in the band are a couple, and I know she's a mother, and I think he's the dad. I'm not 100% on this, but I think it's the case, and it's just not publicized so as not to muddy the image of the characters they portray in their stupid fucking band.

Pretty annoying that they didn't include a theater stop in Boston, for whatever reason. Scheduling, I imagine, but the main theater for rock shows, the Orpheum, doesn't have a pit last time I checked. I saw them there in 1990 and the lack of a pit was an annoyance. There are a lot of theater type places in town, but mostly they're being used traditionally, for ballet, plays, orchestra, and the like. :noclue:

Here's where they're playing:

Yeah, it's nice as far as these things go, but it ain't no theater. I don't like big places like that, so I'll probably skip it.

Yep, all true. I drove them at the Treasure Island Festival out here a couple years ago.

well if you compare Sixteen to Stallone's kid's name Sage Moonblood it's really not so outthere
