Living Social has a deal for the Brooklyn show that gives 2 free drink tickets and the ability to cut the line when entering for 69 a ticket. The best part is, according to Living Social, this show features the original lineup and when Jane's originally broke up Dave formed the RHCP.

The ability to cut the line! I doubt there will be a HUGE line forming at 6:30 pm! I've never seen a show here. Is there a barricade like 20 feet from the stage? Does Die Antwood have a lot of fans? I doubt this will be too crowded. I'm excited to see Janes outside again and I'm bringing like 6 friends so it better be good! I excited for this Sundays show in NJ. I'm in the pit on Daves side.

Something like that, an "event" type show with a high energy/freak factor would probably be the only way I'd go see them this tour based on the sets and level of performances they've mostly given this year. Being LA, the odds of a Pete cameo/P4P tune or two is a bit more likely but aside from that, the only "new" song I care to hear from the last album would be "Underground" so that leaves either a lot of bathroom/bar breaks or the need to play a lot of deeper cuts, even if it means a couple off Strays to break up the tedium.

I am very surprised the LA Wiltern show appears to be completely sold out. I may go on a whim as I know I can get in but it's going to be a last minute decision.

if there were any indications that these shows would be anything other than super annoying, i would be tempted to fly out and catch one.

only because i get the feeling this really is the very last time these guys will play .. strays sold ok but gets a lot of shit from fans .. and tgea didn't sell and gets a lot of shit from fans .. in fact it was a complete flop .. i doubt very much any record company is gonna give these guys another shot .. maybe there will be a nostalgia run again .. but i kinda doubt it .. they have been milking the nostalgia teet for far too long .. i think this one is the end for reals

they should do a rarities show for their last shows .. all pre 91 .. 2 nights .. no repeated songs .. make perry sing in the right key and the right notes .. invite eric .. officially publically denounce all post 91 records with the janes name .. and then end it for real.

no more abusing fans with janes addiction albums that don't have any janes addiction music on them .. tgea is more heartbreaking than picking up the mephisto demos and thinking you are in for 15 new janes demos you never heard before .. and finding out you were suckered into buying a $30 fake bootleg with some other band on it ..

make perry try singing good .. get eric on board .. film it .. release a dvd .. call janes done
