I stumbled across this at ja.org. I'll never forget buying this issue of Rolling Stone (with Sting on the cover
) just to get this image and article. I'll never understand why they never made the cover of that magazine when you consider all of the other big alternative bands that did...and the fact that Perry (with Jane's on 2 occasions) made the cover of Spin like 6 times. This is obviously where Rock and Roll Comics got their inspiration for the cover of their Jane's issue. Everything about his pic is awesome...just wish it was a higher quality scan.

Perry looks great there.
It's funny how Dave and Stephen were both metal heads growing up, and while it looks like Dave still is one at this point, Perky definitely had gone the flower child route in terms of apparel.
