Because JA are not a boring indie-country bland band?

I meant playing accoustic sets from time to time. Oh yea, cause Janes hate eachother.

No, it's more because of that thing I already said... they're not that kind of musicians... and they never really have been... There's nothing in past 20 years to indicate that they would even have an interest in doing anything other than what they've done.

I don't hate them for it... but it has gotten old.

I'm sure you were one of the same people who said the same thing after Strays.

Just read through this whole thing here.

Yes, i am one of those who loved Decon without Perry. Even with Eric on vocals cause it's a killer album.

I can't count the times i was thinking about what DN, EA and SP could do without Perry and maybe with another singer but i have to agree with bman here..the name Jane's is what seems to count. I am sure it would work but there seems to be no interest from any of them. Or it is some kind of strange loyality to PF....i don't know. I guess that all of them would have find another band to fit in (in the 90's)...today :noclue:

I am also sure they still can make great music (i.e. the various instrumental part of songs from the TGEA sessions) I still like TGEA - but especially a song like ETTL makes me wanna puke hearing the vocals, i love the music and the power of the song but PF killed it with the lyrics....

Will there be another album? I would definitely prefer to see them live soon again ...with the same old setlist.

Oh and i love the new Puscifer album.

That is all i can remember now...

Its not that I dislike Perry or anything its more that I think he has lost his muse, part of the magic was the melody and the lyrics of the early days. I mean DN is still a good guitar player there were not a lot of solos on TGEA but I think the guitars were at least interesting in parts. Perk can still drum its not like he forgot, and I think he EA was just jamming with them for a couple months they would come up with something cool.

That all said EA did just tweet that Jon Theodore is the greatest drummer he has ever seen so it looks like the GTO album is going to be pretty wild and killer.

I hope it's a scene of an entire orchestra of giraffes playing the instruments with their tongues.

That's some good photoshopping you got there 67.

It's difficult to make the letters bend with the shirt.

Did you google "Douchebag hipster in a giraffe shirt"?

Of course not. What did you google though? I tried a bunch of different ones and got like a million hipster giraffe shirts but not that one.

Seriously though... is this 5 guys from ANR? http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/26/travel/fr ... index.html
The seven pictures to date are framed and hang on the wall of the cabin. The men still listen to the same '80s music they were listening to when they were 19 years old.
