I'd love to hear a Studio version of Agua, plus whatever other left overs from the GGU days. I love Streets on fire. Anything like that would be great. I think it'll be more like Agua though.

Really trying to keep my expectations low. The best show I ever went to was P4P, 17 years ago. The first album by Perry I bought day 1 was GGU. P4P was perhaps more personally special to me than Jane's as I experienced them in the moment. For the longest, Jane's was always something I had JUST missed out on.

I will never forget Perry coming out with a dress on, face painted with symbols and chugging wine while throwing flowers while just staring at the crowd. Dancing like classic Perry.

Now I see him bouncing out, all smiles, dancing like a goon with his big poofy hair.

I posted the comment in the other thread, and I don't hate Etty. I think her tweet, though, shows a level of self-absorbtion that warranted comment given the gravity of the Boston events. There is no way that she could have gone on Twitter to tweet and not have read (or had the opportunity to read the overwhelming number of tweets about) what was happening.

Hopefull working with Pete will ground Perry a bit...different dynamic altogether from working with Dave and Stephen I would imagine...Pete just has a great auru around him...lets hope they keep it simple. I'm with Hoka...keep your expectations low and maybe we'll get a surprise...

i like that pete and perry are working on lyrics together .. i love dave but he's got no nuts and would not dare tell perry to fix his lyrics .. it is nice to see perry NOT phoning it in from a separate location but actually working with the guys in the band ... WATT on board is fucking fabulous .. i hope they dont minimize him and pretend pfp is a 3 piece .. i have hope that perry sees janes as a comercial band .. and thus the sell out modern rock formulaic output .. and perhaps pfp is a more artsy project with no corporate sponsers AT ALL .. i sure hope this is not another sponsored opportunity .. that would be very depressing and most likely result in janes level ruining of all things pyro ... perry never wrote good with dave .. perry always wrote good with eric and pete .. so there is that .. a little more potential .. must suck for dave and pete to have everything so separate .. i bet they would come up with some great stuff with WATT, PERK, PERRY, DAVE AND PETE .. just send them to Bali and take away anything not analog ... (that includes etty)

Well, considering they're working on Little Me (I think it's called) we know they're pulling out at least 1 old unrecorded P4P song. Would be nice if they just make GGU 2 by recording the other songs from around then. I dont know. Or would it? Im not sure what the right approach is because I have such little faith in Perry to pull it off.

the right approach could be to write whatever songs they want and NOT use the name Porno for Pyros, then if they bomb out no legacy has been tarnished, I could make that work in my mind..I think anyway
