Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour

I guess this is that tour we've been hearing rumblings about.

I think a tour with nine inch nails would have been way more entertaining

I don't know if all the shows are the same, but I imagine so in terms of pricing. Not all of them are listed on Ticketbastard yet, but here's what I see for Miami: 85 + 19.25 (Fees) = 104.25 a ticket. Ouch!

If Layne were alive and Eric was on bass, I'd go.

If those two things were in place they wouldn't be playing something called the Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour. :lolol:

Embarrassing.

Even worse is that they're 2nd billing to fake AIC. Oh well. At least they'll have butts in seats for their set.

Coheed is decent.

If it were coming to my neck of the woods I'd go for 20 bucks. 100? LOLOLOLOLOL

1. 1/2 AIC is still better than 3/4 Jane's.

Black Gives Way to Blue was an awesome album.

2. Did anyone else notice Walking Papers on the bill?

That means Mr. Duff McKagan will be there. Maybe we'll get some Broken People played by all 4 people who wrote it. Something to look forward to, right?

Lame... just so disappointingly lame. I simply do not understand the decisions this band come to.

If this tour came to within a mile of my house, i wouldn't go. Living a past glory perhaps, but if they were to play a split show here in the UK (somewhere cool like the Barbican), 1st half consisting of NS start to finish, 2nd half a mixed bag of gems, I'd be there like a shot.

But this? :banghead:

I am going just so I can see Alice in Chains.

The fact that Jane's is on the bill just gives me something else to talk about here.

Meh
Black Gives Way to Blue was a pretty average nu rock album.

Fixed that for you.

i wasn't serious about the 3rd one. Does anyone actually like any of the 3 songs Duff did? Because I think they all blow.

Ultimate Reason sounds like Porno For Pyros to me. It's not offensively bad...but it's nothing special.

Words Right Out of My Mouth sounds like The Panic Channel. It's a decent mid 90s rocker if you don't acknowledge who recorded it.

I actually like Broken People. Some people have compared it to U2...but I like U2. :ele:

I like Broken People a lot. Not one mention of this tour on Janes Addiction.com!!! Even though tickets go on sale this week! No Janes pre sale or anything!!

Do you seriously believe Jane's is the bigger band, or that more people want to see them?

I'm shocked that they'd play a non headlining tour.

Considering AIC could still sell out MSG in 2010 WITHOUT Layne.....Yea.

I've seen AIC 4 times since their return with William and all the shows were solid! The T5 show was probably one of the LOUDEST shows I ever attended that didn't sound loud and muddled.

I predict a lot of less than half full sheds for this tour. I just dont see the draw even with AIC this time around. Janes set would have to be pretty different from anything they've played the last decade to get me to go to the local show in Irvine.

They have to.

Do you expect any other headliner to cut their set down to 65 minutes for Perry?

Alice in Chains has 4 albums worth of material to play. They can't condense 4 albums into 65 minutes. That would just be a lame fucking move.

You do realize that there is a very large youth population that will come out for Circa Survive and Coheed and Cambria, right?
