Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour

I guess this is that tour we've been hearing rumblings about.
I think a tour with nine inch nails would have been way more entertaining

I don't know if all the shows are the same, but I imagine so in terms of pricing. Not all of them are listed on Ticketbastard yet, but here's what I see for Miami: 85 + 19.25 (Fees) = 104.25 a ticket. Ouch!

HAHA. Also, is Rockstar energy drink the new dobel tequila?Tyler Durden wrote:If Layne were alive and Eric was on bass, I'd go.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
If those two things were in place they wouldn't be playing something called the Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour.Tyler Durden wrote:If Layne were alive and Eric was on bass, I'd go.
Embarrassing.
Even worse is that they're 2nd billing to fake AIC. Oh well. At least they'll have butts in seats for their set.
Coheed is decent.
If it were coming to my neck of the woods I'd go for 20 bucks. 100? LOLOLOLOLOL
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
I AM SO THERE.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
Dobel Rockstar bombs for sale. Only 12 dollars a piece.Noonesshocking wrote:HAHA. Also, is Rockstar energy drink the new dobel tequila?Tyler Durden wrote:If Layne were alive and Eric was on bass, I'd go.

1. 1/2 AIC is still better than 3/4 Jane's.hokahey wrote:Even worse is that they're 2nd billing to fake AIC.Tyler Durden wrote:If Layne were alive and Eric was on bass, I'd go.
Black Gives Way to Blue was an awesome album.
2. Did anyone else notice Walking Papers on the bill?
That means Mr. Duff McKagan will be there. Maybe we'll get some Broken People played by all 4 people who wrote it. Something to look forward to, right?
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
Lame... just so disappointingly lame. I simply do not understand the decisions this band come to.
If this tour came to within a mile of my house, i wouldn't go. Living a past glory perhaps, but if they were to play a split show here in the UK (somewhere cool like the Barbican), 1st half consisting of NS start to finish, 2nd half a mixed bag of gems, I'd be there like a shot.
But this?

I am going just so I can see Alice in Chains.
The fact that Jane's is on the bill just gives me something else to talk about here.

Jones Beach I was hoping that would've been one venue Sandy took out.... permanently

\Black Gives Way to Blue was a pretty average nu rock album.
Fixed that for you.

Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
i wasn't serious about the 3rd one. Does anyone actually like any of the 3 songs Duff did? Because I think they all blow.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
Wait a minute....Alice in Chains is fucking headlining over Janes! Come ON man.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
Ultimate Reason sounds like Porno For Pyros to me. It's not offensively bad...but it's nothing special.Six7Six7 wrote:i wasn't serious about the 3rd one. Does anyone actually like any of the 3 songs Duff did? Because I think they all blow.
Words Right Out of My Mouth sounds like The Panic Channel. It's a decent mid 90s rocker if you don't acknowledge who recorded it.
I actually like Broken People. Some people have compared it to U2...but I like U2.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
I like Broken People a lot. Not one mention of this tour on Janes Addiction.com!!! Even though tickets go on sale this week! No Janes pre sale or anything!!
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
Do you seriously believe Jane's is the bigger band, or that more people want to see them?bman wrote:Wait a minute....Alice in Chains is fucking headlining over Janes! Come ON man.

I'm shocked that they'd play a non headlining tour.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
Considering AIC could still sell out MSG in 2010 WITHOUT Layne.....Yea.bman wrote:Wait a minute....Alice in Chains is fucking headlining over Janes! Come ON man.
I've seen AIC 4 times since their return with William and all the shows were solid! The T5 show was probably one of the LOUDEST shows I ever attended that didn't sound loud and muddled.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
Cool. Lame that Janes can't even promote this! Not suprising, but lame.

Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
I predict a lot of less than half full sheds for this tour. I just dont see the draw even with AIC this time around. Janes set would have to be pretty different from anything they've played the last decade to get me to go to the local show in Irvine.

They have to.bman wrote:Six7Six7 wrote:Do you seriously believe Jane's is the bigger band, or that more people want to see them?bman wrote:Wait a minute....Alice in Chains is fucking headlining over Janes! Come ON man.

Do you expect any other headliner to cut their set down to 65 minutes for Perry?
Alice in Chains has 4 albums worth of material to play. They can't condense 4 albums into 65 minutes. That would just be a lame fucking move.
Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour
You do realize that there is a very large youth population that will come out for Circa Survive and Coheed and Cambria, right?Pandemonium wrote:I predict a lot of less than half full sheds for this tour. That's gonna be interesting.
