Sounds like he's been ill all day... guess he wanted to give it as long as possible to see if he could make it. Hope they just pull the remaining 2 shows though as i most definitely can't be arsed with driving down to London on Tuesday, only to get that cancelled late too. That said, a poor throat could make for an interesting show at Koko... mix it up a little.

Anyway, back to the coverage... and the fucking mighty Crystal Castles!

Yeah, I'll admit the comment about not headlining was perhaps a little unfair. I'm just watching The Strokes; they have some great songs, and a hell of a lot of filler.

Edit: Jarvis from Pulp is onstage with The Strokes. This is awesome.

The whole set was great but Abel is just a belter of a song... and pretty much made for a festival crowd.

Damn weird about Janes revisiting 1990 again though. They played a club show in Camden back then too, but i can't remember if it was a couple of days before Reading or a couple after.

it would be less disappointing than the band not going on at all,imo.

i have been to 2 Pogues shows where Shane McGowan was "ill" and the band carried on without him.
