way back in the late 80's / early 90's I got pretty obsessed with collecting Jane's Addiction bootlegs .. we didn't have all this internet lossless download business back then .. there was this guy Julius who had a tape stand on the street .. he would sell all sorts of live tapes for 8 bucks a tape .. some of them were pretty special .. a lot were audience recordings .. tapes of tapes of tapes .. then came tape trading on the interweb .. so um .. i've got a ton of em .. after all these years i finally went thru them .. picked out my faves .. transfered the really good stuff that needed a signal boost and whatnot .. so i've got a pile of about 60 JANE'S ADDICTION tapes that I really don't need anymore .. I will admit I have use for the blank tapes if nobody has any interest .. lots are maxell xl2 and I can reuse them cuz I am an old fart and I only listen to cassettes .. but .. xmas was expensive and I wouldn't mind making a few bucks if anybody want any of these tapes

$15 a tape includes shipping unless you want more than one of these .. then we can talk a much cheaper bulk rate .. or better yet .. make me a fan freaking tastic offer for the whole batch and I will throw in 2 JANES ADDICTION vinyl bootlegs .. Roma red vinyl and Brixton Academy double vinyl Boots .. but I am keeping them unless I get a great offer.

no but a lot of these shows never got a cd pressing .. so if ur one of those types that likes oddball shows that may not be in high circulation .. and you don't mind tapes .. here ya go .. plus u can pick up a tape deck for about 15 bucks these days .. the vinyl is only there if someone wants to make an offer on the whole batch .. i'll throw in the vinyl to sweeten the pot as they say ... i really like the old rehearsal tapes and psi com shows and stuff like that .. but if u aren't into old school janes it may not be your thing to hear them trying different melodies for slow divers or hearing perry play solo during the sytbs era .. the pfp crystal studio tape is also outstanding .. different versions of the good gods tunes .. some of the tapes are poor quality but have super rare tunes on them .. stuff like that for janes nerds

1. I know people like to trade but I sincerely have no interest in anymore shows .. unless something super rare and cool shows up ... but that is unlikely at this point and I can't stand anything past 91 for the most part.

2. I would feel bad shit canning some of these shows if there is a fan who would actually enjoy them .. since they were at one point like finding gold to me.

3. I am hoping to make a little cash .. but no big deal if nobody is interested. Would rather move a bunch for cheaper than individually.


Drifter, let me know once you have gone thru the rest of your collection and cross referenced what you want from my pile .. as previously mentioned .. u can find a tape deck out there pretty cheap and just load them on to your computer yourself .. or i could transfer them to cd but that would take time and i might charge more for my time doing it .. i would much rather just send the tapes and make a few bucks and let u do the work to transfer them
