Sounds more to me like CF was all about making big side money, with whoever they could get, and Sorum stole the idea after Velvet Revolver broke up so he could have a reason to tour.

Look at Sorum's replacement. Freese. A guy who does short tour bursts with big bands for large money.

Sorum is more about being on the road. CF was more about those one off special shows.

I feel like Royal Machines is going to be getting the better gigs, and Kings of Kaos will probably just do more gigs.

Someone, somewhere posted a video of his solo album. Is was so cringe-worthy, and not a lot of "guest stars" seemed to offer their services to it.

When The Cult reunited (again) in 2006 without Sorum on drums, I caught their LA show at the Key Club and mid-way through the set, Ian Astbury went off on a rank mocking "Hollywood" Sorum who was apparently in the audience.

Found it. I can only hope my youtube account doesn't suggest this shit from this one search. The lyrics suck so bad. I feel sorry for those poor dick sucking studio musicians recording with him. I don't blame them.
