Dave sounds great on this 3 days.

I know Perry's lost his Pipes but he still needs to be higher in the mix. Just add echo. Come on Man!

Rebel Rebel.

I'm so glad the 2 skanks walked out onto the stage to play with their hair while perry yelped like a hoarse dog.

Also, I don't like Dave's guitar tone. There is something very cheap and plastic about it.

Like he's playing a toy guitar from Kmart.

Remember that RHCP song on OHM that he played the toy guitar with the speaker built in? That's what his guitar tone sounds like now.

Oh god, the more I listen, the worse it gets. That fucking keyboard player is still in the band and doing the laser gun noises.

7:20 Dave spins around and almost runs into Etty

Not sure if he told her to get the fuck out of the way, or apologized for being on her stage

Perry really needs to put echo and/or other affects on his voice. and, put some energy into it. I totally understand he's 57 years old and can't jump off drum kits anymore. But there's like zero emotion or energy coming from him. It seems like just a couple of years ago during the shocking shows he was at least Present and into it.

The band is a superlative JA covers act. Perry sounds like ass. Tuned a whole step (sounds like half step down, but no instrument near me to verify). Nothing new here. The PEW PEW PEW shit is dumb, not because that break couldn't use some electro-fluffing, but because Perry is so dumb that this is his vision for flourishes? A guy who is in every fucking EDM tent at Lolla? He can't have the guy do a sinister drone pad, swells or for fuck's sake, an obnoxious bass drop? Shows how out of touch he is.

His attire also makes me wonder whether the Liberace crap from NIN/JA was 100 percent to irritate Eric.

Robert Smith is 57 and still pulls off three hours of singing per night......

At least rebel rebel is something different, but even then it's basically camp Freddy with Perry singing.

Christ. That's unlistenable.

I'm not entirely convinced Perry didn't die at some point in the past 15 years or so and get replaced with this hack.

He fucked with the volume of his in ear monitors several times throughout that song.

I can only assume he kept turning himself down so he didn't have to hear how awful his own voice was.

So, this was the first Jane's London show in ages that i've missed... and missed through choice rather than circumstance. It's a week since the show now and it simply hasn't crossed my mind - doesn't look as though i missed out on anything either.

What did amuse me through last week was that i saw on Sunday 12th, Perry post a pic of the Iron Maiden plane - his message was saying thanks for the lift... we've all seen subsequent pics from that flight. A couple of days later, there was a pic on Stephen's account of him, Dave and Chris with the plane in the background... message said something along the lines of 'this is the closest we'll get'. It could have all been in jest but i didn't read it that way.

I should just care about the songs... but that crap just winds me up.

At this point, not sure i'll ever see Jane's again.
