Strays, The Great Escape Artist and Live in NYC were released by Capitol (a brand of Universal Music). That's why there were no "post Relapse" releases on the Sterling Spoon box set.
Anyways, the band is lazy about showing new material. That's a fact.
Rev fulfilled the Warner contract.
So it was Rev, the 2 PFP, Live and rare and Kettle whistle?

Finally opened mine and listened to RDLH. I love the sound, bass especially, never owned original vinyl though.
In hindsight, is Rev when Perry "jumped the shark" with that techno version of Whole Lotta Love?

Hadn't listened to this since it came out. I don't think it's too bad. He sings like old Perry, which is cool,at 0:56 e.g. He's lost that edge completely.
I'm pretty sure you'd label this jungle rather than techno by the way

Just got my box.
An unseasonably warm day in DC. Writing my book about alpha junkie William S. Burroughs and his impact on the Cult of Rock 'n' Roll. This album is still legend, even if the band squandered theirs. Somehow it all works today.

Artemis, I have followed these Janes fan sites since the one before xiola.org (can't remember it anymore). I just wanted to point out how good of a forum member you are. You look at links and give time to others' interests. I just think it's cool in this day and age of all the overload of information we are force fed in our daily lives.

Does anybody know if Ritual is going to get a vinyl release on it's own? I really don't want to buy this box to get a copy, or pay the high prices for an original since this was recorded on digital tape. I can't find a copy of the first P4P record anywhere either under 50 dollars. Why don't they just press these for everyone to buy?

Are you aware Rit was released on vinyl in 1991? Just eBay it...And 50 for porno s/t is a rip off can def find cheaper
They can't sell out their limited that's only 3k....Their market value is dead...Ie why you can find ns everywhere

No shit it was released in 1991 but you can't find an affordable copy anywhere. They are a little less pricey in Europe but shipping makes it not worth it. Look for yourself, same for P4P

How does the 2013 P4P RSD reissue sound compared to the original? Does anyone know the source of the S/T record 93 pressing? Was the record recorded analog or digital like Ritual?
Anybody have copies of Ritual or the first Porno for Pyros record who wants to sell them
