I'm very surprised Soundgarden didn't get nominated. Maybe they thought it would be a bad look to nominate them this year given what happened back in May.

This year has a few that can win...Radiohead, Rage, DM, Bon Jovi, Priest, DS, LL, MC5, Moody Blues, Rufus, and The ZOmbies....and those who should like Nina Simone and Rosetta. Either Radiohead or Rage will get a slot and though it seems easily given to Radiohead, I really think Tom's got a real edge with his influence/clout and the new band and certain current events.

Yes. One year's nominees don't have much to do with the next. The likes haven nin and The Cure have been nominated in recent years, but not the following. Also doesn't mean they won't be again.

If thats the case they should stop nominating so many bands each year

Well, I was way the fuck off....like The Cars....grew up with them as background music. Love that Nina Simone made it, but shocked she did. Knopfler has some cred, but never moved me.....Jovi and MB's put me to sleep at best.

Incredibly boring list of inductees this year. I can't stand Bon Jovi. Hopefully they reunite with drunk Richie Sambora who pukes at the podium and punches Bon Jovi in the face just to add some kind of actual RnR to this thing.

A headline stating that RS is reuniting brought me to the news of the inductees in the first place.....it could happen. Totally agreed on this years list, except Nina.....she's a goat and was downright dangerous onstage.

Well, that's a simple fix....don't. I have found that I enjoy the lists immensely. Top drummer, guitarist, bassist, band even metal band (not much the metal guy). I understand the ego, subjectivity, and rampant politics involved with the clickbait but I don't take them too seriously and they always get me to thinking and usually bring to me really good natured and spirited (and sometimes illuminating) discussions on players, bands, or music in general.
