At least with the solo, he's doing that distinctively Navarro heavy wah/heavy vibrato thing. I haven't seen him do that in a long time. It's a bummer he didn't play like that during ninja.SR wrote:lazy

I'd rather watch Ink Master than listen to anything Perry OR Dave have recorded in the last 10 years.creep wrote:OK Dave played a couple cover band shows. That proves he is a working musician and Perry is not. Yes it is garbage but over the past ten years Perry has put out a lot more original music than Dave. This is a stupid thing to argue about. It is nice to see your Dave boner is back again though. It does make make things more interesting around here when you defend all he does.Six7Six7 wrote:We'll get the last Jane's tour date and see if it was before or after the Royal Machines Xmas shows.creep wrote:Steve?Six7Six7 wrote:
Only one of them is actually out playing music live these days. What did you expect me to say?
I know you aren't talking about Dave. I'm pretty sure the last time Dave played live music was with Perry last year.
And then check to see if Perry's most recent recorded music came before or after the NIN EP.
I'm not googling it for you.
I'd also rather listen to Dark Matter.
I'm sorry Perry isn't putting out any quality entertainment for you. Kind Heaven should be hitting Vegas aaaaaaany day now.

I love how you take this as Perry vs Dave...When we are just saying that they both suck now
Re: Is music dead? will we get new music from JA/related peo
Why would anyone watch Ink Master? You can't eat tattoos.

And I disagree.
One is still churning out entertainment that I enjoy. The other churns out social media posts about vacations.
I really don't see any similarities between the two.

I'll let you know when Dick Master is a show.
Re: Is music dead? will we get new music from JA/related peo
Man, I would not be surprised if Andy Dick had pitched that at some point. I think I would watch at least a few episodes of Andy Dick saying "Please pack your fudge and go". Imagine the quick challenges! "First person to get this famous comedian's wife hooked on cocaine again gets immunity from the next elimination challenge."Six7Six7 wrote:Hype wrote:Why would anyone watch Ink Master? I'd watch that.
And I fucking HATE Andy Dick.
And I fucking HATE Andy Dick.
Re: Is music dead? will we get new music from JA/related peo
Andy and Dave together could probably make it work
Re: Is music dead? will we get new music from JA/related peo
Doesn't Dave churn out social media posts about his Rolex of the month?Six7Six7 wrote:kv wrote:I love how you take this as Perry vs Dave...When we are just saying that they both suck now

In between his weekly television show and his weekly radio show? Maybe. I don't know.kv wrote:Doesn't Dave churn out social media posts about his Rolex of the month?Six7Six7 wrote:kv wrote:I love how you take this as Perry vs Dave...When we are just saying that they both suck now

He posted a pic of himself holding an adorable koala today. Does that count?
Re: Is music dead? will we get new music from JA/related peo
Sure it wasn't a sheep?
Re: Is music dead? will we get new music from JA/related peo
Not unless sheep started looking like koalas.
Re: Is music dead? will we get new music from JA/related peo
Sheep are far more productive than koalas. Koala bears just sit in their eucalyptus trees getting stoned but sheep on the other hand do lots of cool stuff like making jackets for delboy, helping people get to sleep and contributing to the finest roast dinners.

Koalas are not bears.dannyboy wrote:Sheep are far more productive than koalas. Koala bears just sit in their eucalyptus trees getting stoned but sheep on the other hand do lots of cool stuff like making jackets for delboy, helping people get to sleep and contributing to the finest roast dinners.

Neither are "panda bears". It's just a name, not a description.

No it's not. "Koala" is the name. "Koala bear" is something some people say, probably because someone else way back when didn't do his or her research, and it stuck due to laziness, or assumptions.

I said it's *a* name, not *the* name. Things can have more than one name. Why don't you just insist on using the Latin name? Phascolarctos cinereus.nausearockpig wrote:No it's not. Perry doesn't really post anything anymore. His wife posts semi naked shots a lot though!
The only person I like from the JA camp anymore is Perkins. I met him at the Guitar center drum thing he did last summer. Total chill nice guy and loves to talk drums. He loves to play too and is probably the only one in the Janes camp that actually wants to make new music. This is a really good listen.
