I'll still see Jane's play their 12 song canned set if they are around, but it's so sad that such talented folks have run so dry. I'd rather see Perkins and Eric Avery form a new band with Frusciante and any singer.
10 years? I think you meant to say 3-4....no revisionist history here bud!

I don’t think it’s safe to assume that. I think Perry has one more turd in him and I think Dave will give him once more chance to squeeze it out.

I'll bet you that Jane's Addiction never release another LP.

Here we go.

I have a proposal to make it even more fun: bet an amount on Bitcoin. Could mean $10, could mean $100,000,000, depending on fuck knows what.

Or we could just use real money and not have to jump through hoops to set up anonymous wallets and find some rando dude online to give us bit coin in exchange for Amazon gift cards.

I wonder if this solo album is the "bold concept" he's talking about.

Surely an album with the guy from The fucking Cars is not what he considers a bold musical move, is it?

Also, GOOD NEWS! You will finally be able to stream I Just Wanna Celebrate on Spotify soon!

What in the world makes him so proud of Strays & Ultrapayloaded? Those two are the most lightweight, disposable pieces of "music" the guy has ever manufactured. Spending his own money to buy back the rights to UP and rerelease on vinyl. Really???

Perry has lost his singing voice bc he never pipes down. He's still an interesting out there dude but there's a lot of rambling in this convo. All State wrestler??

I just listened to the end to hear him talk about Kind Heaven....oh man he is nuts. A five story building being built for this with an East Asian theme with parkour performers and mixed martial artists with Hong Kong style food including insects and scorpions.

Does anyone actually believe this will happen.

Start at 45:40 for all the nuttiness.

That's so fucking insane.

I love the way he keeps mentioning some of the elements this project is going to have and says "dining." I can imagine people in 2030 going "oh, remember that Perry Farrell project that was across Caesar's Palace? Man, that dining was superb."

"actors... actresses... mixed martial arts... dancing... parkour... music... performers... fighters... musicians... it's everything rolled into one"

This guy is a nutjob.

"you're living in a post-armageddon... so there's peace for a thousand years... and you're there... and there's music..."

Put that on the fucking poster, Perry. You five-story building will be full of people in no time.

"there's music happening all around you, and you're eating at this beautiful places..."

"you can even eat insects, scorpions..." :lolol: :lolol:

"It's a two and a half hour show, but then if you want to stay we can put you in another room where you can listen to music, socialize, gamble..."

GAMBLE? Hang on a minute... is Kind Heaven just a front for Perry's very own racket? Perry says that this is for people who pay for the VIP experience.

What he should do is this. A 12 stop Enit world festival tour over the course of 1 year. A one day festival per month in 12 different worldwide cities.. Call it a Jane's farewell last fix tour. Jim Rose Circus Side Show, a few bands, Jane's headlines. How simple of a cool idea is that. He might even get the rest of the band to agree and sell some tickets.

Except no way Jane's can headline a festival. That idea might even lose more money than kind heaven.
