yeah but i loved those shows. the current thing is a staged bit of stupidity. that seemed to me, the few times I saw it, a genuine freak side show. i've been to other freak shows. it's not like Laurence olivier showed up. they're freaks and carny's.
but perry was still perry.
he seemed to get the stage denizens from way down low where the streets are littered. i wonder if they're all still alive. except for perkins, given how fucked up the band was, it's a wonder they are.
plus martyn was a monster. love that guy.
