It's extremely painful to see "Spend the body", the most ridicoulous song ever, in the same setlist with "Then she did".
You got to be a masochistic Janes fan to attend this show

Wow just when you think meh, there's this break at 0:45 which makes you go: wow, this is horrible.
What is actually the goal of this Kind Heaven band?
The fact that he plays Jane's and Pfp songs is because hé knows all the rest is crap
Whew, that's bad

“We’ll do five tracks from Kind Heaven Orchestra, and then we’re going into deep house tracks that we play with ancient instruments like the lute and tabla, and the orchestra will add little bits and touches. Then there’s the third part of it that’s gonna be acoustic. We’ll have some orchestra with that and then an encore that’s totally acoustic. There’ll be Jane’s Addiction, Porno for Pyros, and standards. If you love music, you can’t not love it.”
I agree, it doesn't sound that fuckin bad, but I'll reserve my final opinion til I get some decent audio to check out

Full disclosure, they didn't actually play "Then She Did" despite that it was on the setlist. I look forward to your cynical assessments of what that means.
We had a great time at this show. Loved some of the new songs (especially Pirate Politician.) Perry was a lot of fun on stage, especially with his between song "human interest" banter. It was a treat to hear (and sing along with) Pets. I didn't really need Jane Says...I remember when they would play multi-night sets and only play that on the last night (and then Trip Away)...so the specialness of that song has worn, but everybody sang along anyway.
Also, prepare yourself, Perry declared the Messiah is coming in 2020...so get ready for that.
The opening bands were solid as well. Palms Station is, I think L.A. musicians, some of whom lead music at a local synagogue and there was a nice spiritual vibe to what they were doing.
Didn't realize it at the time but the second band, Dhani Harrison, who was closer to straight-forward alternative rock (at least relative to Palms Station) is actually George Harrison's son.
Everyone in the room was having a good time from start to finish, as best I could tell.
And here's a dancing banana for no reason:

Didn't know Chris Cheney was a part of this nonsense. Those clips are pretty dire and judging from the setlist, it doesn't appear they played much more then an hour despite having numerous (instrumental?) set breaks. The knucklehead at BMG who signed them for an album contract is probably sweating bullets about now.

"snakes have many hips" i guess
It's not really the style of music I like but it's way better than perryetty techno garbage. It's catchy It should be with the people he made the album with.

Stea (the post above from Creep) is the male dancer and backup singer in the "super" group.
