No but they probably would be interested in making new music.
Dave interested in making new music? Sure doesn't seem like it. At least Perry tries (and fails)

Dave is a graffiti artist this year.

Next year it will probably be something else.

Maybe music again in 2022 or 2023?

Here's what they should do. It'll never ever happen but here's what they should do.

Record One bloody song with Eric. Go on a farewell summer 2020 'Last Fix' tour with Eric.
Fishbone
Janes
Faith no More

Or with some other LA band from that Era.

Jane's
Chilis

Call it day.

You left out: perry divorces etty, petty goes to treatment, perry goes and finds his son yobel, perry reverses all his plastic surgery to look human once more, perry makes up with all his musicain friends whose bridges he burnt, perry learns how to play instruments and write his own songs, perry gets all the fans that gave up on him 2 decades ago and are pushing fifty to want to believe in him again, perry gets bands way bigger then him to agree to open for him (again), perry can make all his near 50 year old fan base wanna go to shows again, perry gives up edm and DJing, perry starts being honest and fair, perry gets rid of his shielding that always says "yes perry, awesome idea" no matter what dumb idea he has............

And if he did all of that he still won't be relevant

Your dream case scenario would still be a shit show

lol. I guarantee everyone on this sites goes to a farewell tour, especially if Eric is involved. They should at least do it with a good band.

I wouldn't pay money to see Perry live again for any reason.

I wish I did too. But I think its perfectly understandable the shit he gets. At some point you either acknowledge the emporer is naked or you're just sort of embarrassing yourself.

No.

Eric should stay with Garbage, Perk should keep doing drum clinics at Guitar Center, and Dave should do Ink Master and his free radio show while occasionally doing gigs with Royal Machines.

And Perry and Etty can keep playing progressively worse and worse versions of Jane Says until Perry croaks and Etty sells his stake in Lollapalooza to fund EttyFarrell Records, which will put out a different Jane's Addiction greatest hits compilation every single year until Hezron turns 40.

They already did that. 10 years ago. It was called NIN/JA and we were all there to watch Perry fuck it up AGAIN.

Oh it's all good. I acknowledge that the emporer and emporess have no clothes. I've said it was fucking horrible. I still do though think that Perry is an entertaining front man who can still put on a good show every now and then. And Pirates and Machine Girl could theoretically by decent songs with Dave and Perk and no etty on them. But yeah. Who fucking cares. And I agree Janes is dead. B/C even if they got together for a few more shows they'd all show up and rehearse for 20 minutes and play the same tired set lists. I guess I'm loyal. I've been a Jets fan my whole life so I've been let down millions of times and still come back!

This weekend I'm heading to Solid Sound festival for two sets of Wilco. The stink of kind heaven will be removed.
Cheers,

Enjoy Wilco, sir. And for the record I will probably go see Jane's one last time in a few years. Most of my favorite artists are gone or long gone by now. Sometimes you either take something (way) less than great or nothing at all. Not this current horseshit, of course... but I will take one last ride with the almost-real thing.
