Re: Kind Heaven played Amsterdam
How's life in Amsterdam? If Trump wins a 2nd term I have some life decisions to make.
Re: Kind Heaven played Amsterdam
Polls also said Hillary would win by a landslide.
And she did. But unfortunately that landslide happened in states that she would have won anyway. So the fat racist piece of shit nickel and dimed himself a few extra states by 10-15k votes.
Hopefully more than 10-15k in those states realize what a shithead he is.

A lot more to this story, but don't forget the revolt of Bernie peeps after the Wasserman/Clinton debacle. And yes, I remember. But polls serve a useful purpose; that's why everyone still relies on them. Too, "did not vote" would have won the '16 election; as jaded as I am, I would be surprised if that were the case in '20. Sometimes things change rapidly, sometimes at a glacial pace in elections so predictions are difficult. I don't see another 4 years of this thing as a certainty at all as of right now.Six7Six7 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 6:16 pmPolls also said Hillary would win by a landslide.

What's different now from '16?
Well... I guess the fear that the economy will be obliterated and we will enter WWIII has subsided.
Everything else the same.
Re: Kind Heaven played Amsterdam
For an on topic question, how would you have got the concert if you did go?
On a bicycle?
What are Amsterdam motorists general feelings about bicycles on the road, that they are a menace or is it a symbiotic relationship?
Re: Kind Heaven played Amsterdam
A lot of Dems stayed home in 16, rather than vote for Hillary, and she still won the popular vote by 3 million. Will a Biden/Harris ticket, or perhaps a Harris/Sherrod Brown ticket get them off the couch. I hope so. But trump will go nativist even harder this time, and accuse Dems of being AOC/Omar socialists. He'll actually inspire some more 'deplorables' as well. I have no idea what will happen. Right now, shockingly I'd say he still has the inside track mainly because of states like Florida and PA. Sad. Maybe a 2nd trump term will inspire Perry/Dave/Eric/ and Steve to make good art. Who am I kidding.

You get run over by cyclists in Amsterdam
Re: Kind Heaven played Amsterdam
There won't be a massive internal insurrection in the Democratic Party this time, and there's been a real time demo of this admin...to name twomockbee wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 8:51 amSR wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 6:14 amA lot more to this story, but don't forget the revolt of Bernie peeps after the Wasserman/Clinton debacle.
