Laughing Beats - unreleased song

Apparently Dan Cleary's radio show, Rare Form Radio, played a snippet of this song tonight.
I haven't taken the time to listen to the podcast to find it. But if someone else does, it's possibly there.

he said two songs were recorded and this is the only finished one and it's called "laughing beats". dumb title...no vocals played. only 10 seconds.

God damn I've been waiting for this since I was 19.
What do we think fellas?? Even though its ten seconds it sounds really cohesive, dark and badass. I bet at some point it goes into half time like stop.

Sonny asked Eric and he confirmed that bassline is not Embrace the Darkness. It's just a jam they made up in rehearsals but the guitar in the clip has a similar feel.

sounds cool for being less than 10 seconds long. i wish those guys could have kept working together. still glad i saw the two shows I did in 2009.

Guys, I don't think this is "Embrace The Darkness".
Why? Well, first of all Dan says it's called "Laughing Beats". Even if that was a working title, I think Dan would know the difference.
Before the song, he says they recorded 2 songs, only 1 was finished: this one.
In the Sonny interview, Eric mentioned "Embrace The Darkness" didn't get finished. So I think that's the other song, not this one.

I suspect soon. Not sure why else he would have sanctioned this ten second leak. Someone is going to leak it in full.
He also recently posted the 2008 la cita poster on his Instagram. I thought that was interesting.

I also think we should try to get this news to places outside the forum. Might stir up more of an appetite for it, put pressure on someone to let it loose.

Yeah if Dan is allowed to play it for his buddies just share it already. And Eric's sound is so unique. I wish he and Perry could just write a song or two together this year.
