I just looked at DN's page and it was a memorial of some sort. No mention of Kobe or anyone else that I saw. I don't think this is indicative of a tour, but who knows.
Also, that looks like JF's '55 or '56 Strat Sunburst if I'm not mistaken. DN's guitar I have never seen before; I like it

I love it. All those guys still alive (when some were touch and go for a while) and playing together. Also nice to see Dave mending bridges with the peppers.
JA, RHCP, Thelonious and Fishbone. A dream line-up I'd have loved to have seen this.
Cracks me up that there was a huge empty space in front of the stage except for a couple of todders dancing about. Just like my gigs! Weather looks great for February.
They should do this regularly. I picked up the Whores book on Friday night and was reading a part about the girl from the Nymphs putting together a song with dave and froosh that never ended up happening. I was lamenting their lack of collaboration. So strange that this video popped up 2 days later.
I saw on Insta that Martyn was bummed about not getting a call for the gig.
He had them all painted black. If you look closely you can see spots where the black paint has come off and the white is visible underneath.
I see now, yes. Why didn't he just order them in black, or order a new black one....though the aged/distressed look is great

He's probably attached to them in one way or the other, history, playability, who knows. Cant be about the money, a new one costs around 5000 and Dave of course get a discount

Here's a compilation of some clips from the event. During Mountain Song it looks like all four current Janes members plus John were involved. No Etty.

Yeah, I don't know what PRS sponsorship is like, but I thought it might be free. Anyways, he got back the NS geet via Steve Jones...I'd love to see that brought out.

For DN its likely free at this point since he has been an endorser of theirs forever, I have a purple private stock that while I didn't pay anywhere near full price for, PRS and now Knaggs tier out the endorsers / sponsorships

Perry jumping the shark (to be fair I first felt that when Rev came out)
What was your guys opinion on the Song Yet to be Sung album cover?
I was pretty ambivalent about it. But it did do a good job conveying the feel of the music within, which I liked. It always felt a bit like Perry making a Bjork album, and I was not surprised to learn he worked on it with one of her producers.

That was not a bad solo project, time treating it well.

I liked the cover , it has this free festival/burning man kinda vibe. As well as the music.
What was your guys opinion on the Song Yet to be Sung album cover?
I thought it was pretty cool at the time.
And I wonder what happened to that guy.

That's an interesting observation. The parts don't resemble Chad, at all. In his defense I think he might just have been trying to keep time and not complicate the music with JF playing shy and all the baggage of the reunion
