I don't think anything'll happen. Stephen's getting all nostalgic cos he's been STUCK INSIDE like the rest of us. After Eric's chat with Sonny? Etty on the scene? Chaney still around? 12 of the same songs they did in 2009? Come on, it'll never happen.
UNLESS Lockdown has made them all a bit mental and they've realised they could all do with a bit of extra cash.

I'd venture best case scenario, they're prepping "super-deluxe expanded edition" reissues of NS and/or Ritual.. and sifting through live/rare recordings for unheard bonus tracks has got them feeling sentimental (such as Perry talking about the 7/24/91 show [which we know was professionally multi-tracked and would be viable for official release]). If they could finish a bonus new song or two with Eric laying down a baseline from the comfort of his place never having to be in the same room as Petty would probably be an easy sell for all parties. But a full-on reunion tour with EA would be surprising.

has EA been working at all lately? I can't remember the last time he toured with someone unless I missed it.

He tours regularly with Garbage and was supposed to be out with them for the Alanis tour in a few weeks.

Yeah I really feel like the next logical step for Jane's would be to revisit the reznor material and they might as well release Embrace the Darkness too.

Yeah I think Perkins is just going through his old photos. I can't see anything happening. Although Laughing Beats is out there on Dan's phone. Just let us hear it!
We can't be together but we have this amazing machine that is the computer and this amazing web we have woven, the World Wide Web, where we can communicate. And we can spread our message.
Does everyone else remember the first time thhey discovered the internet?
Is that the box set with all his great solo stuff? I hope he puts out 'I like em big' on vinyl - with some extra Dj Peretz remixes. I can never have enough of that song.

Why they don't play online on instagram, or Zoom or whatever platform I don't know,
instead of lolla 91 playlist on spotify, share some old pics or shit like this, fucking lazy band
Are they still interested in music or not, they still love playing music or not, are they still somehow creative artists or not
So he heavily implies that he had covid-19 before anyone else in the Americas, but as he was about to die he *decided* to live... which is what people dying of covid should do, if only they were as smart as Perry.
I feel like everytime I read something he says some of my brain cells kill themselves.

Me too
(There is a lot of so cal who think they may have had it in December...was prob a dif virus...will take more time and antibody testing before anyone knows...but the start date for covid's arrival here keeps getting moved back every few weeks...my entire family had something strange with a lasting dry cough pre xmas)

Same over here. My brother was telling me half a dozen staff where he works were off ill with pretty bad flu symptoms and a cough around December. I don't believe for a minute it suddenly 'turned up' in March.
