Lifeafterdeath
Re: Lifeafterdeath
Dave seems to have no interest at all in making new music. It's been that way for a few years.
Re: Lifeafterdeath
Perfect....ya he's prob thanking ink master every day to not have to be on a Perry Etty tour...
Re: Lifeafterdeath
I’d struggle to say he’s a musician anymore. He’s like... a veeeery minor celebrity whose last creative output was in
2001 (!!).
2001 (!!).
Re: Lifeafterdeath
Just looked for his IG page, which I never followed, but know he was on and posted constantly. He appears to have taken it down
Re: Lifeafterdeath
he talks about that in the interview, no more facebook and IG

This is actually really cool imo. I had no idea he was doing this. It’s awesome that he just put his head down and made some art and said “fuck social media”.
I don’t get the vibe that he’s over music. Seems like he’s just acknowledging he’s not really a solo guy and is in his element as a collaborator in a band context. Right now, that can’t happen because of the pandemic.

six7 must be following his idol since he hasn't been around for a while.Noonesshocking wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 9:31 amI mean yeah that was true for a long time, but he literally deleted everything.

Yeah, I guess I'm not impressed because social media 'personalities' (and/or people who think they are) do this when they upgrade to the next level of 'empowerment', for some reason. They also tend to collect lots of empowering moments (such as taking a shower or having breakfast) that they can later on post when they come back, earning likes and shares by the dozens from all those people they inspire.Noonesshocking wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 9:31 amI mean yeah that was true for a long time, but he literally deleted everything.

That is true - part of him could be looking forward to a big “welcome back” moment should he choose to reactivate.Larry B. wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 9:45 amYeah, I guess I'm not impressed because social media 'personalities' (and/or people who think they are) do this when they upgrade to the next level of 'empowerment', for some reason.
