I have this as a .VOB with pretty much the whole concert. The camera moves from behind Perkins to the front of the stage after the first few songs. It's fucking epic.

Mockbee, I've just converted it to MP4. It cuts at 31 minutes during caught stealing, my bad. I can drop box it you if you want? Or WeSendIt? :noclue:

Always thought this post-show backstage footage was fascinating. They all seem in a very good mood, despite apparently hating each other by all accounts. I guess that rendition of Chip Away amped them up. Eric only has one thing to say ("that was so cool").

Love this - thanks. Have seen photos of the backstage setting with Siouxsie and Budgie, but never seen the clip. Cheers.

Oh, I didn't put it together that was Siouxsie at the end......awesome.
It is hard to impress her. She is totally amped.

I remember dave saying that what he really wanted with janes was it to be a male version of Siouxsie and the Banshees. Love them.

Maybe this is common knowledge, but does anybody know if Siouxsie liked Perry's voice? I assume she liked Jane's well enough as a band.

I hardly ever recognize people out of context. :dunce:

.......and she is almost 60 in this clip........holy fuck does she look good. :yikes: :tiphat:

What I find fascinating and - this will doubtless attract some haters to whom I probably won't respond, as this is not intended as anything but a respectful observation ... but in her late 50's it's interesting to note that Siouxsie has now reverted to being a relaxed, 'normal' woman from Kent.

Her Dad was apparently a terrible alcoholic and this I think (thankfully) set her on her path to an 'outside' life in Punk. Do I think that she would have been involved with Punk (which by the way she says was NOT popular- in 1976 anyway; empty venues) and breaking the world record for taking electric shocks from car batteries (as she apparently did in Mexico or Texas, can't remember which)? No.

I'm glad, almost, that her estranged childhood occurred because she reacted by creating an art form! However, that behind her, she is now doing the most revolutionary thing possible - retiring her anxieties and returning to Suburban Kent (mentally if not geographically). She has returned in some ways, to what she once (rightfully) abhorred, but it is now age-appropriate and psychically appropriate ... a "return to Kent, already in progress." (Curiously the world which was so far behind her has left Kent! She pretty much has the suburbs to herself; stop to think - that's pretty Punk! )

I don't know a lot about her, but I think you are spot-on about being hard to impress....by that point in time anyway (1991). Although she/they grew out of the scene (the Bromley Contingent etc.), they always seemed to march to the beat of their own drum. The way she's been so caustic over the years about Robert Smith (and others) has for me drowned out anything complimentary that she may have had to say about peers or those who came after her.

I'm not sure when that clip is from, but she and Budgie split in 2007 - am guessing she's in her late 40s in the first vid. She's always looked fantastic though. Life in the South of France seems to have been good to her.

Ahhh..sourced the video, promo of some film about Jeff Buckley in 2004. Making her about 47, still looks great for an 70s/80s rocker.

Ha, yes, she does. Elegance helps, rather than turning Liberace. Last saw her live in 2008 and she still had it.
