Really enjoyed reading this!
I was obsessed with Jane's bootlegs for a few years and the author really captures the exhilerating feeling of discovering and listening to them.
I owe alienonacid a beer.

I lost so many tapes/cd's over the years..But I remember in 91/92 going to record conventions and buying audience bootleg tapes. It was actually fun listening to shitty sounding boots with audience chatter!

Bootlegging is so 20st...
I remember when NINJA tour happened : a new full concert video was popping on YT every day, although back in time, we could kill for every badly recorded tape.

I threw all my bootlegs in the bin about 10 years ago. to be honest, I haven’t missed them, but about a month ago I watched a full show someone posted here and it was brilliant.
