who the fuck here (la) would wanna go? We all saw them when they mattered...this is almost 20 years too late...plus porno was never on Jane's level...to most Jane's is the "Jane says" band and porno was "pets" ..there really isn't this giant legacy of music to be falling back on to be honest...plus their handling of social media has been horrible for years...doubt many have even heard they are playing together again

i would for sure go and see them especially with martyn for $30. seems like a bargain.

I saw that as well. I'd go in a heartbeat to see them with Martyn. I love that they're playing with him.

Fuck I would go…. Maybe I’m a sucker? Why do I think this is so exciting? Have I forgotten 2003-2022 Perry already? Why do I expect this will be any different? $32?!?!

That was most entertaining performance of the entire set. Liked the new intro guitar solo they added.
Have not heard Perry sound or seen him perform as good as that since Hard Charger came out.
The drummer sounded like he liked the song to because he hit a home run-they should bring him back as an added percussionist for future PFP shows.

The 30 dollar tix were sold out yesterday. That was GA. There were 35 left up in the balcony. I think the Belasco's capacity is around 1300. So, sell out/no sell out, they aren't creating a great deal of interest. I never saw them; the venue is bitchen; it's a bargain; Pete is playin PFP proper and hooked up. It's a no-brainer for me.

Lot's were impressed with the drummer at the Florida show. Confused me, but hey. I am looking forward to seeing Perk too. His stylizations were as important to PFP as they were to Jane's albeit in very different ways.

Another one of "Sadness" shows the band members featured closeup on the large screens.
Still hope we will get a pro film of this historic reunion.

Surely, you mean “Put Up A Mambo”.

You know what takes away from this show is the two "dancers" standing in front of their mics not doing much at all - moving around a little but not dancing. Perry used to have sexy girls up there who knew what to do. If your gonna be up there on stage damn it dance bitch dance!!!

This. I'm beyond excited for 7/7; more so than I ever thought I could or would be for anything Perry-related. I only ever had a chance to see PFP once, and that was at a huge festival. Martyn back in the fold makes it perfect. As perfect as anything Perry can muster at this point in time.

One time I went into Feeks bong shop in WI and they had PFP Woodstock concert playing on all the tv‘s up on the wall.
I was like damn this guy really does walk the walk.

Last time I saw Porno's live was right around this time of year early June of almost 30 years ago at the Riviera. Flaming Lips opened.

It was kind of funny because me and my friend were smoking and drinking in the grass parking lot before the show. It was still broad daylight and we could hear Flaming Lips from outside the venue so we knew when to go inside.
The security guy at the door was like you just missed the entire opening band because you were out here getting high. Tickets were only about 15 dollars.
The funny part was on the way in I bought a bootleg t-shirt from some random dude and undercover cops stopped me to ask if he was trying to sell anything else.
The shirt was black with the first pfp cover and I washed it maybe twice and it disintegrated.

Wow, that was about 30 years ago! I went the SF shows, on that same tour w/ Flaming Lips. I think about the shows a lot, but I haven’t thought about the actual time passed, in a while…

I bought the shirt, with the city burning, on it. Wore it until about 10 years ago, maybe?

Yeah sometimes I wonder if people like Perry or any musician who toured a lot remembers specific shows.

one time i caught fishbone many years past their prime and I told angelo I had been arrested for smoking pot outside a fishbone show in seabright new jersey but made it back in time (after being booked at the station) for the actual gig .. angelo said "aw yeah i think i remember that show" .. prolly says that to everyone
