I saw Jane’s play Bob in San Francisco on the Ritual celebration so? ..The whole Dave thing is puzzling? But I really don’t see him as the type of person to just pussyfoot if he wasn’t still somewhat invested? His TV gig what’s it called? “Ink master” has a new host with him doing cameos so? ..I would imagine he’s on a health timeout? I doubt he’d walk away from that as well? ..Besides Perry has never shied away from laying out issues? ..I was actually surprised he spoke about the bad energy and ending with Chris Chaney? I think he genuinely cared about him? Dude probably felt like a used toilet after not being invited to TGEA sessions? ..Did he ever have a legitimate chance to actually participate in any creative process? Martin wrote everything on strays? ..I doubt there’s any bad energy between Dave and the band? ..Something he’s struggling with internally? I love Dave!! Maybe a family member or someone going through something? Or his own mental well-being ..We all have breaking points and obviously he’s figuring something out?

dave still struggling with long covid. he is recovering by hiking in yoesmite. hopefully soon he will be able to hold a guitar for an hour a night.

I’ve done Yosemite young and healthy and I’ve done it in the middle of heart failure?..This photo doesn’t mean he’s deep wandering and exploring it?.. huffing and puffing it?…Any grandma can enjoy Yosemite at base level?…I try to visit it every year and most of it is easily accessible by car or foot? ..It’s actually flat and as easy as walking through a mall or grocery store until you wander deep off the path?

I actually partied with Alice Cooper at The Ahwahnee…Well he wasn’t drinking..But his buddies sure were!!! He was dressed in old man golfing attire!!!! Checkered pants and white golfing shoes…Golfing hat!!!! Him and his buddies spent the day on the greens I guess? … I actually didn’t even know there was a golf course there?…maybe 25 years ago?…Was a trip!!

Just found this video of Three Days from Oct 14 (one night ago).

While I am one of the enthusiasts of Troy being the "best replacement", I still think that this particular song needs to be played note-by-note. It's a trademark tune.

And he did that 75% of the song, but it's not enough. It's just like playing Stairway to Heaven and tweaking the solo:

I'm sure that the casual fans won't notice it (and that it's even less hearable being in that room). But please, Troy. As much as I love you, stick to the solos for that one song .

Being that said, I really appreciate the wild edge that he brought.

Jane’s was great at UBS on Friday. Slight change up closing with Oceansize, that was nice. The Queens dude did a great job. Having seen Jane’s with Eric twice in 2009 (Jone’s Beach, NY and lolla), this was way different, he was super into it. It’s such a difference with an engaged EA. Hoping for new stuff with Dave.

At Boston show, Josh Klinghoffer played on Three Days (took the outro solo) and Daniel Ash is on now during Jane Says. Eric makes all the difference with this band - very solid show so far!

I tend.to collect them from shows I go to, and I tried to get one from the Tampa show, but was told the didn't have anymore in the arena by the time I got to the merch booth later in the night.
