I had no idea this was happening. No Dave?!? The fuck happened there?
Dave has long Covid. That's the official reason given, but who knows. Some speculate that he may have relapsed and is trying to get clean again.
He got married to a younger woman who is about 30 but looks 16. Oh, and he got a new car, a Mustang. He's been doing a lot of art and galavanting about in multiple states. Also working on new JA music. :noclue:

Troy Van Leeuwen has been filling in for him. At first the ANRers weren't sure about him fitting in as his style is different from Dave's, but he has grown on everyone it seems, and even glowing reviews about his playing adding a dirty feel to the Jane's sound. Recently, since the Boston show, Daniel Ash and Josh Klinghoffer have made guest appearances. Maybe Dave will turn up near the end of the tour.

Perry and Eric have been getting great reviews, looks like the old chemistry is back. Um, what else? Etty is sticking to dancing.
Thank you for the recap! Everything I needed to know.

Yeah, it does sound a bit odd that long covid would be so severely disabilitating, but what do I know. After all, Dave’s internal organs aren’t precisely an athlete’s.

I watched a clip and the bass and guitar have indeed that sort of dirtyness or nastiness that the band has been missing for a while, and that is still missing in Perry and Perk.

They are coming to Chile for Lolla, but I’m not going.

Jane's aren't playing tonight. Vague notification about "personal injury". :noclue:

I just saw that. Absolutely crazy. I also noticed they didn't give any notification about getting a refund. I guess because they are not official co-headliners but instead special guests it doesn't work that way. I'm going to be pissed if they can't play the St Louis show and I'm just out the money.

“Personal injury”?

Maybe the wheels fell off again and Eric or Perry knocked the other one out? :noclue:

Very unsettling story from Dan - “please don’t ask”

Wtf. I’m almost to the venue too actually. What the hell happened?

I bet they had to cancel it because Etty couldn't perform.

I don't think I would be the least bit surprised.

Man, I am pissed. I just bought a floor ticket on StubHub 2 hours ago. I was going to drive a few hours just to see Jane's. I have no interest in going for Smashing Pumpkins. No recourse with StubHub. Just out the money. :balls:

Welp, that really sucks. I don't think there would be recourse with ticketmaster either. There's nothing about refunds.

I'm really surprised they're being so vague, especially for what is currently just one show cancelation.

Does anyone have any "official" news as to what happened?

I would think the show could go one without Etty's pole dancing. The other two women could handle it.

Sooo bummed. Just found out as I walked in venue. After two hours of driving lol. I went to box office and got refund. I had bought Tix through wells Fargo center website.
Totally bizarre.

I mean if it's not the original lineup of pole dancers, is it even worth going?

Eric just posted a pic of him and a group outside Hotel Chelsea in NY. I'm guessing it's from last night? Either way, odd he'd post that without mentioning anything going on.

They are offering refunds at point of purchase, sucks to waste the time and drive but at least it wasn't a total loss
