Man the older you get —he could have went to bed and woken up in screaming pain cause he slept wrong.

The statement is still weird in that it’s written as if it was supposed to go out two shows go.

But regardless seems they are trying to get it back together.

Yes, it was obviously written to go out sooner. All very strange. Perhaps they were hoping that they could get back quicker but then still just released the statement that was already written. Hopefully they'll be back for the remainder of the US tour.

Sounds like a back injury, as rumored/reported, as opposed to voice. Seems he would have said voice.
Hope he feels better.

Maybe they will be back, and no interpersonal drama.... :noclue:

still weird. :hs:

Yeah, I just think it's bad PR. No drama.

The rumor I heard is that Perry had a "pinched nerve".
Also think the "injury" announcement is to absolve them of any legal actions should they bail from the tour.....
pinched nerve sounds about right for what perry said.

I was entertained reading all of the crazy speculation going on here. It probably won't end until the take the stage again.

Hi! Long time no post...although I've lurked over the years.

I'm just embarking on what I assume will be an odyssey of trying to get a refund from Ticketbastard for my 2 Montreal tickets. Their default customer support is an AI assistant (fuck, what has this world come to) which steers you to a proactive refund offer, which does not seem to exist for this show (I assume they only do this for shows that have been completely cancelled or rescheduled).

Seems as though you have to leave a message in the chat, and a human responds in 12-24 hours.

Does anyone have any tips before I embark on what I'm assuming will be a futile attempt to talk to a real Ticketasshole rep?

I sorta want Perry to ease into things

Do a week of acoustic sets. Do a quick 40-55 minutes and give Poppy a little more time ( she’s good )

I'm going throught the same merry go round... I bought my ticket through Ticketmaster; the # they give you in the email goes to Evenko--I call them, ask for a refund, no, complain, they say get ahold of Ticketmaster.
It sucks.
Nothing is working so far; either I try to sell my ticket cheaper or go & watch the Pumpkins.

Just had to update about the Toronto show: Mountain Song was played.

That is all.

So I bought my Philly show Tix through the wells Fargo site presale. I was able to get a refund at their box office the night of the show, but prior to the show starting. I heard something about people not getting refunds after the show started. I'm not sure how ticketmaster will work but I'm sure it's a pain in the ass.

She :) I answered all the bot's question on ticketmaster's site, and then it asked "Did I answer your question?" I said no.
It then invited an agent. I told them "the name of the tour has changed. I did not buy ticket to "The Smashing Pumpkins" Spirits On Fire Tour", I bought tickets to "The Smashing Pumpkins + Jane's Addiction: Spirits On Fire Tour" I would like a refund. The product has been changed. I would like this escalated to a supervisor please." And then they told me I am now getting a refund.

Now was that so hard? Why all the secrecy? What took so long?

Did one of Perry’s hemorrhoids rupture??

Thanks for this. I followed the same path, and the real person responded that refunds were not available. I'm literally going to copy and paste your text now!
