I will get one at the SF show, for you, if no one does before. It’s next month….
Thanks a bunch! I'll keep you updated if anyone's able to get one before :thumb:
Sounds good 🤘🏼

This is more my speed. I was on here a couple of weeks ago saying they should’ve got someone like Daniel Ash to fill in for Dave. Obviously, the setlist would be dramatically different. But I think that’s what needs to happen.

I ended up selling my tickets due to Dave’s absence. I now have Covid and wouldn’t be able to go anyway.

Notice how Eric was uncharacteristically decked out in Bruins gear. He must’ve got tired of Perry’s Liberace meets cowboy attire and just said “Fuck it, I’m wearing whatever I feel like now”.

Definitely a Gonzo’s Addiction vibe these days. Some weird byproduct of the pandemic or something.

Going to MSG this Wednesday. Do Jane’s play first or second?

Clearly Jane’s first! Hope to see some of you there.

They sound increasingly bitchin.’ I hope Dave is getting jealous. Eric and Stephen are OWNING this shit. Perry looks and sounds good. Troy is smart to switch to Les Paul. My favorite guitars are semi-hollowbodies. But these songs—especially this set—needs balls.

Here's Josh's outro guitar solo on Three Days in Boston - looks like it was cut off of one of the other videos that this person had posted:

It wouldn’t surprise me if Josh played second guitar for the rest of the tour. Pearl Jam is done touring and Eric would probably like having one of his good friends tag along. I think it would be really cool. Who else could say they’ve filled in for both Frusciante and Navarro?

I'm starting to get amped for the shows now. They're sounding pretty good, plus probably my favorite intro of theirs from way back, Up the Beach into Whores into Ocean Size. Hopefully there's some more surprise guests.

It's noticable that Perry is sometimes finding his old voice, sometimes finding better ways to handle his aging voice more gracefully -- dropping into a lower register that still suits the song. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but he also doesn't seem to be pulling the mic away from his face so much, and it's giving some power back to the vocals in places where it needs to be there. I want to hear more lower-register Perry that isn't completely off (as in most of the last 20 years of Mountain Song...)!

They’re doing that drum intro thing from 1.0 before they come onstage too which is pretty cool.

I meant to mention that from the Tampa show! The volume progression of the drums rolling into EA bass. :thumb:

I can't find a full video yet, but you can hear it in this video:

Here's a vid from the Tampa show where you can hear it right before Up the Beach starts:

That drum intro into Up the Beach is great. I always forget how well Up the Beach sets the stage for the show. Getting excited

Dave just said on Instagram he was talking to Josh K. I want to believe he’s planning some kind of appearance with everyone for later in the tour.

I’ve always compartmentalized Billy Corgan’s love of wrestling. Hey, most of us are complex people with a wide array of interests and eclectic tastes…but when his day job and hobby collide 🤦🏻‍♂️. We may complain about Etty and the “dancing”, but at least Perry isn’t pulling these antics on stage during a Jane’s set…

damn that new billy song sucks .. not even some cool ass wrasslin moves can save it .. and billy now pantsless in his dresses .. he gonna flash the front row soon enough .. billy should send his chick over to the janes set and let her take out the jungle gym hookers .. give eric a laugh .. then perry an eric can have a match during the 3 days drum solo .. song doesn't end till someone gets the 3 count!! whomever wins gets veto power on the next janes record and tour (byeeee ettyyyyyy)
