Maybe I'm the only one who found it funny....just pointing attention to the top comment in the screenshot in case no one's noticing it.

My simultaneous reactions:

1 - laughing at Eric's hopefully playful trolling
2 - "Oh shit, this is how it all starts this time..."

Obviously, neither TGEA or Strays is anyone’s favourite Jane’s album. Certainly not here, anyway. And I get that Eric is being cheeky…this is exactly what I expect from him. But given we’ve been witnessing Jane’s Addiction: Bizarro World Edition as of late, I think it would’ve been cool if he had blindsided everyone, took the high road, and said something like “Underground” or something. Of course, we’re not privy to the current conversations in the Jane’s camp; maybe Perry and Stephen trash the reunion albums in Eric’s presence. Who knows? :noclue:

But given how off course this band is from 1991 (think of how much the original lineup could’ve accomplished in the past 31 years), it’s time to let all of this shit go. I love Eric…he’s my favourite bassist ever…but who’s he to point fingers anymore? What has he done since the original heyday? (Deconstruction and Polar Bear aside).

Again, he’s obviously being cheeky…but still.

Playing bass for Garbage since 2005, don't forget that

I enjoyed those albums? ..But it wasn’t the Gurl I fell in love with? ..There were moments that felt like those past sweet kisses kinda? ..Underground felt right? ..End to the lies was a cool song “despite it’s jab at Eric ” ..As I have said before…Dave is amazing at icing the cake but baking is not his strong suit ..The panic channel was a shitty cake..No slam on him just not where he is brilliant and skilled? ..Some build the house and some decorate it and make it beautiful!!

And then there are folks like Perry who try to turn a barn into a mansion and the foundation isn’t solid enough to build on and decorate? ..Eric and Stephen are the brick laying guy’s that build the home they make purty and throw the parties inside of!!
