Today I read in the press that Jane's would play at Lollapalooza in Argentina, today, the first song Perry and Eric wrote together when they got back together, the first one where they exchanged glances, as if to say, here's something. Perry specifies in the interview that he is not referring to True Love. For my part the expectation is at its peak.
Can you provide a link?

I found this too:

https://sonarfm.cl/sonar/show/entrevis ... addiction-

Talks a little about Dave. Confirms he’s not on the new songs and that Josh is recording with them
Well.. I guess Dave really is out
I took it as he’s still in the band but that Perry is definitely annoyed

Doesn’t look like they played anything new tonight. Pretty short set but maybe it’s not accurate

I was there. Amazing show. First time they came down here in 10 years. This was the setlist (one hour because it was a festival): https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/janes-ad ... ba518.html

Awesome- I’m guessing they are saving a new song for the side shows

Yes. The full show was also broadcasted on TV. I'll leave some impressions later, I'm still blown away.

Kind of makes me wonder if this is about money. Maybe Perry renegotiated with Eric…and now Dave wants a piece. :noclue:

I’m pretty sure it’s because Dave is shooting up again.

This line from Eric in the interview transcript

"What's more," interjects Avery, "I would tell you that what defines Jane's Addiction today is the music more than the people who play it.

How tall is that ? :lolol:

I've a hard time figuring out that this is the same guy that was reluctant to scratch the band's legacy a few years back.

But that's great, "young men grow into men and, fortunately, gain understanding and wisdom." :hehe:

I'm happy to read they feel determined and don't give a god damn fuck about what people/critics think or expect from them.

I had no tickets nor interest for today’s show at Lolla Chule, but a friend can apparently sneak me in, so I’m going. If I manage to get in, I’ll report back.

Go, Larry. You'll have a great time. The energy is amazing. And go see them at the sideshow too, if you can.

The sideshow is waaay too expensive. About 100 USD for the cheapest ticket. Adding in that it’s a band I don’t particularly like live now (no energy whatsoever), I decided to not spend that money on that show. But yeah, I’d definitely go see them for free.

Welcome! I wish I'd known earlier, and we could've had a big watch party on here. Hopefully someone is recording it.

I think he's a great fit too.
