Small tour in the fall?

Where does a band like them play? Like theaters? It’s exciting but it’s hella niche. Same places like Love and Rockets play?

There is no way they are filling a theater unless there are 2-3 other 90s bands being added to this.

Small clubs if they have a young band opening.

Medium clubs is they pair up with like... Cracker and Veruca Salt.

Theater if they can get Garbage and Stone Temple Pilots.

I was there too at the Cap show in 96 I think. Been there in recent years for Wilco shows and yeah it looks nothing like it did back in the day. I tried to use an Irving Plaza backstage pass (which I bought for $20 off the opening band!) from their June shows to get backstage. I gave the Cap bouncer like $20 and he's like 'come through this door', and I did and all of a sudden I was on the street lol!

This seems most likely.

It puts them in front of the most amount of "fans", without Perry having to fund the whole thing out of pocket or make Etty tour in a van.

Remember when Satellite Party ended up playing really small ballrooms/bars. That's probably the P4P route if they are actually doing a tour.

Probably yeah. Other than like 2-3 cities, bars. And these days, a “ tour”can be 2-3 dates, so it could just be that, in a few years.

The only non-sellout? I can think of many. JA Jubilee tour was packed at MSG but totally empty at Brendan Byrne a few days later (or before - can’t recall). That was the most embarrassing.

I’m really curious what this will look like. Maybe just house of blues like venues. The metro was a perfect place for them to play imo
