I’m confused by the NY tickets. I’ve never seen seated and GA at Hammerstein before. It’s also been a while since I’ve been there, but everything was GA, now there’s 4 different ticketed sections?

It could just be Pete acknowledging the frustration, but hoping it could be a hint some more dates might come?

Pete also liked my comment asking if Martyn quitting was the reason the first tour was cancelled.

What the fucking fuck is with NY suburb 40 minute train ride NJ show being 39 bucks and NY suburb 40 minute train ride Westchester show being 87 bucks? When I moved out of manhattan i chose Westchester because it’s prettier and doesn’t smell like jersey. For this I get buggered? Fuck. Fuck this. Fuck.

Not that the shows going to play anyway, I guess.

By the way, 39 bucks is about right. In a smaller place. Whatever the excuse I know for a fact (yeah, I know people - haha) that the last tour was scrapped because they didn’t sell any tickets. Hammerstein? Right. They’ll probably move it upstairs to Manhattan Center Ballroom when it tanks.

I’ve been pretty psyched for this. Pete is a hero, P4P gave me some great memories (including the Cap with Watt when it was a broken down old theater and the bar now called Garcia’s was a separate place black and spanish dance club that was an amazing party and totally welcoming to me and my tripping friends for drinks and dancing after the P4P show), and Perry’s seemed pretty motivated in the past set of JA shows plus those P4P shows. But Martyn bailing sucks. (Hopefully it’s Watt. Doubt it.) As does the price at the Cap and Hammerstein.

MEZZ tickets $124 and Platinum Seating at a table(I think) was over $300.

I live outside of Philly, But the Xcite center fucking blows, so I got tickets for Silver Spring MD. So in case anyone is thinking of the Philly show, you may want to consider MD, NJ, or NY as a better option.

I will say I thought it was an odd choice for a venue out here despite never having seen it.

I was there a few weeks a for a comedy show. The worst seats I have ever sat in. Extremely tight. No room to move. And it's not Stadium seating, it's completely flat. Also very cheap. Like flimsy backyard plastic Adirondack level quality. I really can't stress enough how uncomfortable the place is. I thought that maybe they remove the seats for musical acts, but the tickets didn't indicate GA. You had to pick your seat.

Tubro you should have moved to NJ like me! It doesn't smell that bad lol. I'm in Red Bank. I wish they were playing the Count Basie theater here or Stone Pony in Asbury. Also, the Hammerstein and Wellmont theater shows are the last two of the tour. So as a Jets fan used to disappointment, I'm fully expecting these last two shows to not happen because of an injury!
