I was pretty underwhelmed. Those clips hid more of the bad and accentuated the good (where possible) for PF. He seemed exhausted and old and senile, or mildly medicated.

Perry sounds like he has marbles in his mouth . Hopefully this is just a bad recording.

He's struggling to hit those high notes in standard tuning.. must be tough at his age, as we get older our voices become naturally lower. Hence the drop tuning previously.

Really disheartening... the lights are weak; no up front energy except Pete (who shines on Tahitian Moon!)

I’m caught up on the better footage that’s surfaced now. This is definitely really bizarre. I immediately thought of Chris Cornell or Scott Weiland - sounds like he might have been on benzos. I hate to speculate but it’s kind of impossible not to. There are a lot of instances where there’s a weird lag between him and the band. Hope this is just a fluke.

Yep, first night. Trying not to be a "negative Nancy' but I agree a little disappointing. PF did seem unwell, or high or something. Etty seemed high too. Some of her dance moves and facial expressions made me giggle.

Oh I agree. But compare this to the lolla show and it's off. It just seems unprepared. Which is kinda par for the course. Hopefully it gets a lot better.

Some of it is OK. Perry doesn’t really seem psyched to be there, and definitely sounds under the influence of pharmaceuticals. It’s low energy, a bit off, but not as lazy or off as we’ve heard him. He sounds adequate on some parts and a few entire songs.
