Apparently we’re waiting on Perry to do the artwork. Art for the first two seemed of little consequence, so I don’t know why this release would be any different.

Randomly dropping new songs online is a letdown. Hoping for a 10 inch record, 3 new recordings on side 1 and 3 unique live songs on side 2. Cool artwork. Then a box set with the 2 full lengths, this new 10 inch, and the best live boots Stephen has, mix of Watt and Martyn on bass, live Hard Charger…etc.

Pete said on Dan's radio show that they are on "Perry's time" with the artwork for Fingernail and joked that it might be another ten years. Made me a bit uneasy because the tone of his voice indicated that it might actually be a long time until it comes out.

On the other hand, they soundchecked it at least once on the tour. I hope that's a sign that we're getting it soon.

I REALLY need Perry and the management to get things together for whatever Jane’s releases — if P4P isn’t doing a physical release ( and I really hope they do a 10 inch or a 7 inch )

Perry and crew REALLY need to follow what all bands of a certain age do now that their fans have more income

When RHCP or Mr Bungle dropped new albums you had autographed bundles and vinyl variants and cassettes and shirts and hats and all kinds of stuff

I really feel P4P juts dropped the ball with no planning — and I need Jane’s to do a proper modern release with pre orders and Al the bullshit I will gladly pay for

I wouldn’t hold your breath for them having their shit completely together, but I do suspect Janes will do things better because they’re an actual potential moneymaker with better support. This porno run was not seemingly a well funded endeavor.

Side note - it’s great that the tour picked up steam as it went. Ticket sales looked low, and then the shows seemingly got more crowded as things went along. I think there was a lot of positive word of mouth.

These shows were gold. Even if the performances were variable, the fact that they happened is still remarkable. That said, it's just hard to believe that that this will be it. They played Omaha. With all due respect...Omaha is a more viable market for a show than San Francisco, Miami, or various in TX? Amongst others.

Roll on 2043...since it always takes these clowns a few decades to work out basics.

Pete was on the Nothing Shocking Podcast. Sounds like they will do more shows and hit places in the US they didn’t go to this last go round (including South America).

He also mentioned he has around 10 additional porno songs ready to go- unclear if the band has worked on them yet.

Also a lot of great insight on his career/solo records. Apparently the song Hypocrisies off Gratitude was the first Song Perry heard from him. That’s wild

It seemed like word of mouth helped ticket sales improve as the tour went on. If true, I wonder if they were given more support to potentially do more dates.

Peter is currently set to open some shows for a band called Sacred, and he’s being booked for a solo acoustic tour across the US.
