I continued to be perplexed by the inability of professional musicians, who own hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of musical equipment, to sit down and write a song and then record that song.

Every time he’s at guitar center drumming along to the Nothing’s Shocking album for 500 bucks he’s probably like “I LITERALLY just walked past Perry drinking a smoothie at Whole Foods reading EDM Weekly and he didn’t even say hello”

Ironically when I went to a guitar center to see him play and talk shop he said his hope for Janes was set aside time and write/record together at studio 606… you could tell he really wanted that to happen

Porno for Pyros has lived in the shadow of Jane's Addiction (to their detriment) for 30 years...and all we're seeing now is a continuation of that vibe...had they been a standalone band no ties to anything "legendary" they may have moved differently...all I know for sure is I don't like fake teeth Perry...bring back the old cracked out guy who in spite of himself managed to get shit out...

Aren't most record plants backed up 9-12 months right now?

This band booked a tour without even informing the band members. Do you think they had the foresight to work on a release schedule to ensure physical media would be ready on launch day?
